We just spent a few days in Southport at Lois Jane's B&B. The breakfasts were great, and the staff we met, including Erin and Brenda, were friendly and helpful. We stayed in Miss Mary's room which had a private door to the upstairs balcony which was really nice. Everything was clean, and all our needs were met. The only problem...

My wife and I have been here a couple times now and would NOT stay anyplace else in Southport, NC. It is such a quaint little town and the Lois Jane captures and embodies the charm perfectly. Amazing rooms with water views to watch sailboats and even cargo freighters roll out to see. Modern amenities with a classic feel. The...

If you are looking for a "high rise luxury hotel" then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a small town place that still uses real keys, this is the place! The room was small, but clean and you can even open the windows to get a cool breeze coming in. Once you step out...

We enjoyed a very comfortable b&b stay in Miss Mary's Room. The experience was all that we had hoped for. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large, well appointed and the bed comfortable with some lovely soft bed linen. The adjacent balcony was delightful for sitting out and reading books The wine and cheese at 5 pm...

My husband and I were very impressed with this B&B. It was more than we could have hoped for. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the outside veranda, freshly baked cookies in our room, bedroom/bathroom were well furnished--first time I slept til 8am in a very long time. Excellent breakfast fixed for us on our awakening. The home in all...

We stayed two nights at this nice little B&B. It rained most of the time which allowed us to sleep in. Everything was clean and we'll kept. The staff was awesome and made us feel right at home. Walking distance to everything.

I stayed in Miss Mary's room in July 2014 and was very pleased with the accommodations. The room was furnished with lovely antiques and was very cozy. Lots of windows and a private door to the porch where I could sit in a rocking chair and watch the boats go by. Breakfast was delicious with freshly made omelets, waffles, fruit,...

On a whim, I decided to head to Southport for a night to catch some beach time and booked a room at Lois Jane's online, literally as I was on the road. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable and accommodating. They left a key for me and as I headed up to my room, guests were gathered in the...

Hostess was very welcoming and registration was very easy. The B&B is in a beautiful historic home which is decorated with antiques and beautiful pieces. I was traveling with my daughter who is an avid Nicholas Sparks fan, so Southport was a "must see". We had a front room with view of the water. The room shared a bathroom with...
