There isn't one negative thing to say about the Richmond Inn. The hospitality, beautiful setting and accommodations are top notch. The owner, Maggie, is an expert at giving her guests the ultimate B&B experience.

A group of us stayed at the Richmond Inn for a weekend getaway and to enjoy the scenic twisty roads in the area. We all enjoyed the B&B and the Owner made us feel at home. The property is in a great location and very walkable to restaurants and shops.

We were so well taken care of at The Richmond Inn by innkeeper Maggie and her son Ben. Maggie is so accommodating and friendly. The Inn has large rooms and lots of space. Bathroom is of good standard with good brand toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful, we especially liked the baked apples, very tasteful. Location is perfect, not far of the...

Very comfortable and very clean accommodation in a spacious dwelling. Plenty of common area to relax in and nicely landscaped grounds. The breakfast was very good and Maggie and her son are very nice people to interact with.

My husband and I were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Despite the fact that we live in Johnson City, TN, which is a little more than an hour away, we did not want to backtrack on our trip. The choices in Spruce Pine are VERY limited so I decided to just check and see if there was a room available...

The Richmond Inn surrounds you with Southern hospitality. Maggie, the proprietor, has created a very comfortable B&B in the heart of Spruce Pine. She sincerely wants you to be comfortable and goes the extra mile to make sure you are just that. The house itself is 1920s vintage interesting. It is not luxurious but it is very well equipped. The...

I had the pleasure of staying in this sweet little bed and beakfast last winter for work. The room had plenty of room, very comfortable and breakfasts was served all week long. Even know it's a small town there is also plenty of good places to eat around town for lunch and dinner. You are also very close to the...

We've stayed here several times over the last couple years. Maggie is a gracious, friendly, and uncomplicated host. Great home base for hiking or cycling, fishing or hunting excursions at Linville Gorge or Mt. Mitchell and along the Parkway in between. Maggie's breakfast is delightful and healthy, with snacks and coffee available any time. Very nice rooms with great beds....

Have been coming to Spruce Pine area, specifically Penland School of Crafts for the last couple of years, always staying on the Penland campus because of the class duration. This time we were just coming for a visit, only having a day. Found out about Maggie and the inn on TA. It was a great experience. The room we wanted...

I wish I could give this property a 10!!! It was one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed. I travel a lot, and this was far above all expectations. My husband and I visited our son, who is studying at Penland. The Inn was perfect in every way, from its location, to its warm and gracious hosts,...
