I visit this place quite often because I have a motorhome in their storage lot. The campground is always clean and well-kept. The staff are friendly and very welcoming most of the time. My kids love to visit the swimming pool during the summer and I am always willing to take a short fishing trip. This is a very reasonably...

Over all experience was great. Park offered 3 lakes and river running throughout campground. Staff was very helpful finding a sugar cured ham. Gave suggestions and directions of where to go. It rained the 3 days we were there, but due to laid back area and location we never missed a beat. First retirement trip, even took our dog. They...

We had a really nice time tent camping at this KOA until we woke up the last morning to missing items. After years of camping, this was the first time we've ever had anything stolen! The desk staff confirmed that they have problems with theft due to nearby trailer parks. If you camp here, lock up all of your items!!...

We are visitors on a regular basis at Asheville East KOA. We have stayed here every year since 2008 and twice most times and three times another. The campground is well cared for with clean facilities. The staff are very courteous and friendly. I enjoy coming during the fourth of July and participating in the golf cart parade. Children walk...

Well laid out campground nestled amongst the trees, lakes and river.. Just a bit away from the highway so you do get a bit of road noise from the interstate. Not significant noise however so we slept well. This campground gets very busy so reserve well ahead of time. The bathrooms are clean but some sites are a fair hike....

If you want to sleep, find another campground! The train comes through every few hours during the night and blows the whistle loud and long. The track is right across from the campground so you will hear it no matter where you are located in this campground. It is beautiful and convenient but who cares if you can't sleep? We...

This was our third stay at this campground. It's a wonderful campground, very clean and family-friendly. The kids love the beautiful creek that runs through. The staff is great! If only the loud, blaring train wouldn't go by several times in the middle of the night, I would give five stars. We sleep with very loud box fans and it...

We stayed for 2 nights in a lake view cabin and had the best time. The cabins are clean with air con, with a porch swing, bench table, fire pit & BBQ just outside. Less than 10ft from a beautiful lake, we couldn't have asked for more. The staff are super friendly and the nearby shop sells everything you need...

This campground was perfect for our family of 5, including 2 teenagers and a preteen. Large campground with plenty of natural beauty including two lakes and a creek. Many reviews cite the train as a disturbance, but it never once woke up any of us. We are not light sleepers, however lol. The geese are also mentioned in amy comments...

This campground has a pretty pond and creek with trails to ride & walk. However, this KOA lacks the something extra that we've found at others...the staff was not overly friendly, the pool and playground are "bare bones ", and the worst is that the campground is located right next to a train crossing! The train comes all through the...

“Tip: The 2-room cabin is only $10 more than the 1-room cabin. Pay the extra $10 for the extra space. It's money well-spent!”
