We just spent two wonderful nights at the Lazy Bear Lodge. Everything was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable, beds divinely soft and cosy, gas stove in the room and so peaceful and quiet! Anne is a fabulous, relaxed host. She booked a restaurant for dinner...Casa Rustica...excellent recommendation, and gave us printed out directions. Again the next day suggestions of...

We love the Lazy Bear B & B hands down, even during this area's 1st unexpected early snow. From the beautiful vistas from every location on the property to the beautifully decorated lodge, we couldn't have asked for more. The gracious hospitality of the owners, Ann & Mark made you feel at home, and their resident loving dogs Bo &...

This place was absolutely wonderful from the moment we finally arrived. Our sat nav decided that we had arrived when we got to the golf course even with Anne's extra instructions. The people at the golf course were very helpful telling us to have faith and keep going for another mile or 2 along the road, and the look out...

We stayed in the hummingbird room, which accommodated 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. We had a private balcony to enjoy the amazing view of the forest and mountains. The special touches included homemade soaps in bathroom, complimentary robes, oversized bath towels, and jacuzzi tub. We loved the homemade cookies that Anne prepared and the cook to order fresh breakfast...

The first bed and breakfast my wife has ever really liked. Secluded mountain log lodge overlooking Valle Crucis with awesome views. No expense was spared in this lodging. Dining tables for each couple. So you can socialize as little or as much as you wish. Upscale amenities everywhere you look. The rooms were everything you'd hope for and more from...

We spent one night and wished that we'd planned a longer stay. The innkeepers have thought of everything, as described by other reviewers. Our favorite spot was the deck with a great mountain view, breakfast area, and entertaining wildlife: humming birds, deer, squirrels, flying squirrels, birds.

Very relaxing stay. Loved the view of the mountains from the balcony. The grounds were lovely and well maintained: ponds with goldfish, flowers , bird feeders, rocking chairs on the deck. Breakfast was great Lots of privacy and and I felt like I was right at home. They even had a chocolate cake and cookies for their guests. We stayed...

This lodge was beautiful. The room and views were great (we stayed on the second floor) over looking the mountains. The lodge was the perfect place to relax from the big city and the long drive. We loved the two dogs Bo and Bela. Breakfast was delicious and sitting outside was even more breathtaking. The innkeepers were so helpful with...

It's not often that we stay at places that are this expensive, but my wife has always wanted to try a bed/breakfast. We had to be in Boone anyway, so she broke me down and we gave it a try. We sure are glad we did. Everything was just as my wife imagined they would be. The rooms were comfortable....

This was my 2nd trip to LB for Christmas and as soon as I got there I remembered why I wanted to come back. It is like coming home for the holidays. I can only recommend this place if you want a peaceful cozy place to unwind after the holidays. The amenities are great and you feel like your staying...
