We were driving home from Florida and all hotels were booked in Asheville. A hotel clerk put us in touch with Shawn at the Yellow House who went out of his way to get us in last minute and at a good price. Our Windwardside room was so comfortable and relaxing with music piped in. The Yellow House is such...

My husband and I could not have enjoyed our visit more. The house is charming and peaceful. We stayed in the carriage house and enjoyed private breakfasts on our balcony which were delicious. Days spent hiking or walking around dreamy downtown Maggie Valley.

I was passing through the smokies and decided to pass the night in Paynesville, just outside the chic city of Asheville, NC. I made several calls for last minute availability and The Yellow House was the place I chose. Shaun, the host at Yellow House is an absolute pleasure -- he was kind and helpful both on the phone and...

The Yellow House is a lovely home up on a hill just outside of downtown Waynesville. It really has more of an Inn feel to some extent than a B&B. Shawn is excellent to work with and does a great job of getting you settled in upon arrival. You really have a lot of little extras to go along with...

Just got home from a 3-day stay at The Yellow House. It was easy to see why there are excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. The amenities were the best of any B&B we've ever stayed in. Shawn, the manager, is perfect. Knowledgeable, personable, accommodating, great host and cook! The breakfasts were healthy, huge and appetizing with a nice presentation. The staff...

We stayed in Windwardside. We loved the room, the view and the French doors were definitely a plus for us. We left them open (That nice screen that keep the bugs out made that possible) at night and we could hear all the wildlife. Absolutely wonderful! Shawn is great. He made us at home from the start, with the tour...

The Yellow House is the ideal place to seek out relaxation. The staff and hospitality are unparalleled. We felt at home at this b&b. Breakfast is amazing and is deliciously unique. We cannot wait to go back again.

Lovely clean room with great amenities and an innkeeper who has found the perfect balance of being accessible yet giving guests space and even access to the kitchen for snacks, port wine and/or tea. Delicious hearty breakfasts served on the front porch with views of the mountains. Greatly enjoyed our time there. Highly Recommend.

I loved just about everything about The Yellow House! Upon arrival Shawn was there to greet us and show us to our room - check-in very quick and easy. We stayed in the Winwardside Room and loved the private balcony overlooking the woods. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. We loved the piped in music - fabulous idea!...

Truly excellent breakfast served on the porch in the sunshine amongst convivial guests looking out at the Great Smokie Mountains? That's how we enjoyed Monday & Tuesday mornings this week. It will be no less enjoyable when we return in the future whether it's raining or snowing. There is a high quality, yet restful VIBE at The Yellow House. It...
