The Dry Ridge Inn is as affordable as its keepers are informative – rates here are less than you'll find elsewhere. For less, you'll get more – easy access to Asheville and a quick return to a safe, small mountain town whose residents smile and say hello as they pass each other on the sidewalk. Indeed, you may find yourself falling in love with Weaverville as Howard and Kristen did when they moved here more than a decade ago.

I rate The Dry Ridge Inn very favorably. Owners Howard and Kristen are gracious hosts who provide a welcoming atmosphere with a well-kept property and Inn, The wide front porch provides plenty of comfortable seating for reading or relaxation. Background music playing on the first level adds to the peaceful retreat feeling. The full breakfast is delicious and nicely presented. There are some thoughtful amenities, such as guest refrigerator, beverages, and light snacks. I stayed in the Bess Room - clean, pleasant, and plenty of room with a sitting area plus ceiling fan and AC. The en suite bath is a little on the small side, but suitable enough for my long weekend. The Inn is within walking distance of the small downtown area of Weaverville and also easily accessible to Asheville area by car. Highly recommend!

From the breezy porch to one of several tidy, appointed rooms, this inn has enough southern old- world charm to render anyone into a more relaxed state.

Howard and Kristen are the consummate hosts, offering local travel tips, historical stories of the city and the inn itself, along with anecdotes on The Beatles if you ask. They waft in with 4-course breakfasts each morning that leave you satisfied until dinner, while you ponder the moment facing a view of trickling waters over rocks and foliage out the opened french doors.

You remember the creaking timbers as you walk the floors, taking in the books, DVDs, photos and ornamentals on display.Tucked in corners and personal fridges you find complimentary drinks and snacks to indulge in.

When it's time to go out into Blue Ridge adventures, you look forward to coming back at the end of day to this cozy nest retreat.

When it's time to leave for a red- eye, you think how and when to go back! Gratitude.

We have been here multiple times. The Inn is amazing and Howard and Kris do an fabulous job as hosts. The breakfast is to die for, Kris is the best cook in NC!! Howard was a wealth of knowledge about the Ashville area. Great restaurant recommendations. Complimentary drinks and snacks for every guest available in a common area and then drinks in mini refrigerators in many rooms.

The Dry Ridge Inn is a great B&B. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Complementary drinks and snacks were an unexpected addition. Howard and Kris were excellent hosts. Highlights of our stay were the breakfasts, some of the best B&B breakfasts we have had, and sitting on the porch in the evening. We highly recommend Dry Ridge if you are staying in the area.

The innkeepers were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We stayed in the adjoining rooms on the 1st floor. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious! The inn is only 10 minutes away from Asheville and Weaverville is a quaint little town we discovered on a previous trip from Hot Springs, NC. We stopped in for lunch at Blue Mountain Pizza, which was marvelous. We liked the look and feel of the town and decided to return and stay at the inn for a trip to Biltmore. We willing definitely return to the inn whenever visiting the area.

Staying at the Dry Ridge Inn in Weaverville was a wonderful experience. Howard and Kristen are great hosts and took great care of us, going above and beyond. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge and small enclosed sun room. We enjoyed the front porch and the garden in the back. Perfect location, too. Main Street is a short pleasant walk away. We walked to dinner each night and enjoyed quaint restaurants and very friendly people. Yummy breakfast!

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Asheville. This was our third time to stay here. Our home away from home. The Inn is just minutes for the town of Weaverville, NC. A great place to relax and recharge.

The Dry Ridge Inn is our favorite place to stay when visiting our son at college in Mars Hill. We can't wait for our next visit this coming fall. The rooms are warm and comfortable and the hosts are very hospitable.
