Detailed Reviews
Stayed for four nights in late June to attend a wedding. Upon checking in, it came to my attention that I had accidently booked Sat-Monday rather than Friday-Monday. The person checking me in was able to work with their manager to provide a room for us on Friday night which was very much appreciated. The staff were all super friendly and helpful no matter how many questions they were asked. The breakfast was adequate (typical scrambled eggs from a carton, bacon, prepackaged muffins, cereal) but gain the staff was super accommodating. One of our family members had called in advance to ensure they had lactose intolerant milk. Upon arriving they did not end up having it so the staff went out and bought some for her. Sara/Sarah was particularly helpful and always very friendly.
While the hotel is not a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination, it definitely is well situated. We don't eat fast food, but for those who do, there is a Wendy's right next door, a Bojangles down the road as well as a McDonalds and a Shell Gas Station across the light from the hotel.
Cleanliness: We found the rooms to be very clean. Stairwells could use just a bit more cleaning though they were fine.
Pool: We didn't use it due to time. It's very small indoors but looks fine for a quick dip.
Rooms: The reason I gave the hotel a 4/5. While we never heard noise from the rooms around us or in the hallways, we like very firm mattresses for a good nights sleep. The mattresses in the rooms were way to soft/mushy for us. If you like that type of bedding, then the hotel should be fine.

The house keepers especially Lori are exceptional. Front desk is knowledgeable in the area, and if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Ashville, stay in Weaverville at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. For long term they do have laundry on the second floor, coffee 24/7, breakfast, due to covid, bag breakfast. Centrally located for Ingles, Walmart, McDonald's, KFC, Publix, Steak and Shake, good quaint town with not a lot of traffic like Ashville. Btw, very impressed with the quality of design, quiet rooms, very comfortable bed, even the elevator system is "smart." IE when waiting on 1st floor and one elevator is on upper floor or moving, 2nd elevator is moving without pressing button to 1st floor, or already there. Sorry, it's the small things. Hallways are not a race track, breaks into sections so there is no running in the hallways by the munchkins. Pool, fitness center, etc, free USA Today Newspaper. Wall mounted large TV in the room, housekeeping keeps the facility clean even after regular work is done until 11 PM. You will not be disappointed!

We recently took our Boy Scout troop skiing and stayed at the Weaverville Fairfield Inn & Suites for the weekend. The size and composition of our group required a number of last minute special requests. The staff was very accommodating to everything we needed and went the extra mile to work with us and make us feel at home. Groups like ours can be high-maintenance, but the Fairfield Inn team made us feel welcome for our entire stay.
The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We were there during a significant winter storm and the maintenance crew was able to keep the parking lot free and clear of ice and snow. This was huge for us since we had two busses of teenagers.
If you are staying in the Asheville area, I highly recommend the Weaverville Fairfield Inn.

My wife and I stayed at this property on 4/7/24 - 4/13/24. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the room was clean. That is the only reason I would even give this property a 3 rating. We booked our room on 2/27/24 through AAA and was quoted a rate of $127 for 5 nights and $144 for our Friday stay. When we checked out, they had charged us $134 for 5 nights and $152 for Friday. When I inquired about the rate change from the quote at the time of booking the lady at the desk said that that was the current AAA rate. I cannot remember a time before where a hotel changed the nightly rate from booking to the current rate. Another reason we picked this property was they state that they do not allow pets, however I personally saw 2 dogs, that were obviously not service animals allowed in the property.

While this appears to be a new hotel, we were very disappointed with the hotel and service. For the first two days, the TV didn't work. We were told we'd be credited some points for the inconvenience but we have not been.
We stayed 5 nights - arriving on a Sunday night and checking out on Friday morning. Although we requested multiple times to have our room serviced, it was not cleaned once during the entire stay. I asked multiple times to be put on a list to, at least have fresh towels daily. We never received towels without having to find a maid or go to the front desk. We had to take our own trash out daily. While the AC kept the room cool, it did not remove humidity from the room. Our clothes, sheets and pillows felt damp the entire week. The Ice Machine was not working on the 2nd floor and had to find ice on other floors, but as our room was never serviced, we never had fresh ice bin liners anyway.
We are not picky travelers. I travel around the world and deal often with very poor accommodations. This Fairfield Inn was just not what we expected from a newer Marriott property. As a Marriott Gold member, or a traveler of any level, we expected better accommodations for the price paid for this hotel.

This is property is only 10 months old and is esthetically pleasing to the eyes. The front desk staff was swift and friendly. One BIG Peeve for me is the house keeping. The toilet had urine on the seat, the shower had remnants, the bathroom floor had muddy foot prints, the pillows and towels had hair on them. I had Lysol wipes and used them to clean the toilet and shower, and we asked for a new set of towels, and didn’t use the set pillows with hair. We kept our flip flops on in the room due to the muddy foot prints. There were muddy foot prints in the lobby hallway…and still the next day ??? The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar (surprisingly considering it’s new) but did offer complimentary breakfast.. continental style. I am not willing to compromise on cleanliness thus why the 3 stars. (Which was generous)

This is a really nice hotel that is conveniently close to Asheville (less than 10 minute drive). This hotel opened 6 months ago and still looks brand new. All COVID-19 protocol’s were carefully adhered to by all staff, making our entire family feel very comfortable. We were greeted by the general manager as soon as we walked in the door and checked in quickly. We chose this hotel due to how close and convenient it is to Asheville as well as not paying the more expensive Asheville hotel nightly rates. We are a family of 5 and they were able to accommodate us with two attached rooms and we still paid significantly less than what we would have paid in Asheville for a single room.
We were offered a breakfast menu for each of us to complete(just leave outside your door before 1 am and they will pick up) and was waiting for us in separate brown bags the next morning. This menu was very impressive as it still allowed for hot food and protein (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and waffles) to be served. Our children really enjoyed this and had plenty to eat. The rooms, bedding and bathroom towels are all new and reflect that in the hotel’s over all cleanliness. The Beds are incredibly comfortable and all of the TV’s are much bigger than what is standard in most hotels (our children enjoyed this).
We will definitely be back as the entire staff made our stay easy and restful.

If you have read any of my other hotel reviews, you know that I am very very picky about where I stay when I'm away. I am picky about cleanliness, customer service, comfort and even location.
I had high expectations for this hotel after having read so many positive reviews and I can honestly tell you that they were all correct. We had a chance to stay this past weekend in a nice queen room and everything from the people at the front desk and the dining area to the cleanliness to the location was just terrific.
I want to give a special mention of thanks to McKenzie at the front desk for being so helpful and so friendly. I did mention her to the manager to let him know how helpful and nice she was during our stay. Also, the woman who works in the dining area (I sadly forgot her name) was also a gem. She was friendly and kept the whole operation running smoothly. When the manager noticed we were leaving and taking our bags to the car, he made a point to ask us how everything was and if we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for caring and for running such a nice hotel!
The hotel was easy to find right off the exit. For a hotel during a pandemic, they are doing a great job on the breakfast. During our stay, everything was fresh and delicious and plentiful. They had pancakes and little omelets wrapped in plastic and you were able to heat them for a few seconds in the microwave for a nice hot breakfast. They even had Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fruits, yogurt, muffins, bagels with cream cheese and of course, juice and coffee.
The room was large and comfortable. It was also very clean. I always make a habit of pulling back all the sheets and covers and examining every single thing before even attempting to sit on the bed and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was the same. I love the Paul Mitchell lotions and shampoos they provide.
The lobby was beautiful with lovely seating areas.
There are a lot of shops and restaurants right near the hotel so finding something to eat should not be an issue. There was even a Walmart nearby in case you wanted to pick up something you might have forgotten to bring with you. The pool was even open during our stay and although we didn't take a dip, it was nice to see that maybe some things are getting back to normal.

The hotel is newer, the management staff is vey helpful and accommodating. While we would stay at this property again, it is important to point out that it is understaffed in the housekeeping and general public areas. For example the breakfast area has prepackaged goods available for breakfast but consistently undersupplied and feels like no one is working during breakfast hours while people are grabbing food and beverage. We would like to add the hours are too short (ending at 9 am). This is a vacation destination area and most couples or families are slow to rise. Mgmt had to step in to get back supply for food. The clean up post breakfast hours was fine. The policy in NC is no housekeeping while room is occupied due to Covid, we would like to suggest a work around. After multiple days stay perhaps leaving dirty towels in hallway along with bagged trash for pickup. If not these ideas, please consider something. The general main areas could benefit from consistent cleaning, vacuuming and wiping of elevator buttons, doors and main garbage bins. The main restrooms were very dirty and needing of attention. They have an incredible management staff and do believe with more staff they will fix these issues.

Our family visited the Wolf Ridge Ski Resort for the first time and this hotel was conveniently situated between the resort location and Asheville, NC. After a great day of skiing, we checked in our extremely clean rooms then took a 15 minute ride into downtown Asheville to eat. The double Queen beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was a very nice size and the flat screen TVs was large. There are also plenty of places to eat that is within walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the area.
