WOW ! is the first word I can come up with to describe the incredible view from this mountain top lodge. Don't let the narrow steep accent to the lodge deter you . It is worth the effort to enjoy the warm charming atmosphere . The stone veranda is a perfect setting for your morning coffee, while listening to the...

This B and B was once a mountain estate built for the Kress (Dime-store) family. It is secluded up a gated mountain road. The room was large and quiet. Shower was very good and king sized bed was very comfortable. We went on the Blueridge Parkway, to Waynesville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Bryson City, and Gatlingburg.

After reading the reviews was a little skeptical of staying there. Had received a weekend as a gift, so decided to give it a try we could leave if not acceptable. First it is off the beaten path so if you are looking for active nightlife or anything other than a great view off of a veranda on site this...

Enjoyed our weekend getaway to the North Carolina mountain lodge in Whittier, NC. The Tuckasiegee River Mountain Lodge was very nice; accomodations were excellent; the lodge being at the top of a mountain had a fantastic view; the owners were very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast menu (which was included) was extensive and everything we tried was delicious;...

This place was downright CREEPY. DO NOT stay here whatever you do. I read most of the reviews on here before deciding to stay with my fiance for a two night getaway. Families raved about this place saying how quaint it was and how much fun they had. Well either this place just became a creepy horror movie dump overnight...

We thought the weather wasn't going to cooperate for us to make it to the lodge as planned. We drove most of the way up the hill but ice prevented us from making it all the way. James came to welcome us and take us the rest of the way. James showed us to our room and then introduced us...

This quaint little b and b offers cozy rooms, delectable food, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. If looking for an interanry for your trip, Nancy is a great resource. You can choose to hang out around the lodge and property. Which we did a bit, taking pictures, relaxing by the fire pit, eating dinner, and just taking it all in....

This was our 5th visit to the lodge and had a wonderful time. The weather was great (for February), and we spent 3 days hiking and exploring new places. Nancy always has suggestions for new places to explore for us! The view from the lodge is great, and when it's warm you can enjoy the view from the porch. We...

We enjoyed 3 days in the area this time (our 5th time at Tuckasiegee Mt. Lodge). So many great places to hike, and great suggestions from Nancy. The breakfast is always yummy, thanks to Tisha and James. When it's warm, you can sit out on the huge porch and enjoy the beautiful view. We'll be back in April to hike...
