This is a hotel that you would expect to pay $50 a night, not $75. It's a little run down. The location is convenient and it was quiet. I doubt I will be staying here again. The staff are incredibly friendly and super helpful if...More

Stayed here while helping a PGS Tour Rules Official friend set up for the Wells Fargo Championship at Eagle Point Golf Resort. Nice hotel, great breakfast in the morning, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great, convenient location in Wilmington.
Made my reservation through the choice privilege number.. Told them I had a pet & recommended Quality Inn.. When I checked in she told me the only room I have for you is such & such & gave me key.. I left immediately for my...More
We enjoyed staying here for the first time. The only issue was that someone kept banging on our door at 3AM one night but other than that the room was clean, the room service was excellent & all the staff were very nice! We will...More
Since I've been traveling, I wanted to build up points, hope they recognize me, and give me a little bit extra service. As a business traveler, screw that. This place goes toe to toe with any hotel on the coast. Pool, fitness room, clean rooms....More

Considering the state of the rooms and facility in general, I would suspect a very liberal pet policy. As always when it comes to pets, it is best to contact the property directly as policy can change abruptly.

Wave Transit has bus service to most points in and around Wilmington. There is a free downtown trolley and Cape Fear Walking Tour (910-762-0492) has a wonderful tour of older homes in Wilmington, with a history, about an hour and a half. There might be hotels more convenient to your purposes of visiting Wilmington than this one. I mentioned this because I stayed there before the closing on my house and it was pretty central to what I needed to do business there (insurance, attorney, etc.). There are local taxi services and a water taxi, and the tours and walks along the Cape Fear River are very interesting. I have lived here only a few months and have not yet explored as much as I plan to when the weather is warmer. Nothing in Wilmington is very far but there are hotels closer to beaches, airport, shops. The 3 main beaches are Wrightsville, Carolina and Kure Beach which is at the southern tip of Carolina Beach. Ft. Fisher, historic from Civil War is there as well as the NC Aquarium. Hope this helps! I can not write websites in my answer.
