The only thing that let this down was the mattress, which must have been rather old as it was very soft in the middle. Otherwise, a friendly hotel, with good room facilities. The free coffee and soft drinks plus muffins in the morning were appreciated. God location for exploring Wilmington.

This is our second visit in less then 6 months. Even with the place completely sold out they never skimped on anything! The staff is AWESOME they go above and beyond on everything! I gave my 18 year old niece the option to stay at the beach or a place with a pool and she said no I would rather...

This is our second time staying at this inn because of the location first, and also for the great memories we had the first stay. Every room is a suite with a patio or balcony with tables and rocking chairs. Both times we stayed was off season, so, there was no noise from any other travelers and we felt very...

We stayed here for a romantic escape and so happy with our decision . The staff was so pleasant at check in. The room we stayed in (Dram Tree #3), had high ceilings and was so quaint and relaxing. There is a kitchen , microwave, full size fridge and washer and dryer in the unit. The lobby has free drinks...

We loved our room that we were given. We brought our doggie and when we walked into our room, there was a doggie bed, bowls, poopie bags, and treats! Needless to say, but they won our fur babies heart! Our room was more like an apartment with a full kitchen, dining table, living area, bedroom, bathroom, and we even had...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in these themed rooms. We were in the Casablanca room with friends in the Parisian room. Nice touch to have themed rooms. They were spacious and if on a budget you could cook in the rooms. The gardens were lovely to sit for early morning or evening drinks. Having drinks at reception to access 24/7 was...

My wife and I keep a pretty hectic schedule, and were in need of some time to ourselves. Because of limited time, we decided to not go too far from our home, so we decided to visit Wilmington, only 40 miles away, and spend a couple of days there. After looking at available sites, we decided upon the Wilmingtonian, and...

What a bargain! Suite rooms with 2tvs and all the appliances and kitchenette. Would definitely stay here again because far lower price than all the others in this beautiful historic community. Nighttime healthy treats and computer with printer in lobby. Rocking chairs and deck overlooks the back garden area. Best location for easy parking just across the street. Very pleasant...

I am in Wilmington fairly often on business. I was looking for a good place to stay that wasn't some generic chain and was within walking distance of the river. I found it. This is a lovely motel - charming. The rooms are nice. If you stay in the main building, you can score a suite with a full kitchen,...

This hotel truly was a wonderful surprise and made our stay in Wilmington extra special, so special that we booked for one night and stayed two! The staff were extra friendly and Lacey even sent us away with a goody bag for our flight home! The rooms were clean, spacious and different from your average standard hotel room. Each each...
