We loved our visit to the Graystone Inn. It was the most impressive bed-and-breakfast we have ever visited. The inn’s location, in the historical section of Wilmington, was it was within walking distance of the riverwalk with its many shops and restaurants. The room was large and well-appointed; the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. The bathroom...

We spent two lovely evenings at the Graystone Inn. Our first impression as we walked up to the inn, was of pure delight and amazement. The grounds were beautiful and well-lighted, the front porch and columns were breathtaking, and once inside, the large size and scale of the rooms, staircase, and decorations were both awesome and welcoming. Our room was...

The Graystone Inn is a lovely historic inn. It was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were creative and delicious. The innkeepers Rich and Marcia were gracious and responsive. Thanks for a wonder stay in Wilmington, NC.

Very impressive building and decor. Awful parking down the side of the house or on the street which we did as we had to leave our car keys in the hall if you parked at the side of the place so that your car could be moved if necesssary. The owners were very welcoming but overwhelmed us with all the...

Should you plan to stay at the beautiful Graystone Inn be sure to ask the owner if a wedding ceremony will be taking place while you are a guest. If a wedding ceremony is scheduled and you don't mind being a prisoner in your own room for an hour or more without food and drink (remember there are stringent rules...

This home is gorgeous. Please do not be influenced by some of the bad reviews this home has gotten on this site. You will miss a magnificent home. The rooms were quite large and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts with the other guests were wonderful. The hosts were helpful in dining choices and I can say we had great meals every...

It takes a certain caliber of people to open their home to strangers, and Rich and Marcia were very gracious. Their home, a mansion, is absolutely beautiful. Even celebrities have stayed there, as well as it being used for a movie. It was quiet, clean, friendly, had good guests, and a very pleasant staff. Breakfast was wonderful, we slept very...

The Graystone is my home away from home while traveling for business. I have stayed here approximately 3 times per year for the last two years and will continue to do so. The level of service, hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to personal detail is superior to any hotel chain. Also, I have a very restricted diet due to health, which...

No food in your room...even the hotel's own food....you cannot get your car after 9 pm....you cannot use their towels to remove makeup....no red wine in your room.....no signs in the hotel telling you what you can and cannot do because the owners don't want signs in the hotel...not even a sign telling you that you have to ring a...

When we arrived, we thought we were at the Town Hall! The exterior of this building is unusual and impressive and well, inside is like a stately home. Really lovely. We had a massive room with views down to the river and a quirky bathroom. The owners are friendly and the staff efficient. Bellboy Dale, gave helpful restaurant recommendations and...
