My husband, son, and I spend the past weekend at the Taylor House in Wilmington. Scott is a gracious and welcoming host, as well as a fantastic cook! Breakfast over the two days was a filling affair of delicious fruit, pancakes, french toast casserole, and lively chatter with Scott. The house is gorgeous, boasting gleaming wooden floors and staircase with...

We spent the first night of our vacation here on our way to the Outer Banks from SC. Scott welcomed us and spent time giving us suggestions for our time including to walk on the river walk after dinner which we did and enjoyed. The Inn is beautiful - the high ceilings and wooden trim and doors and all the...

What a pleasant experience from the moment of our arrival! Scott greeted us at the door with a friendly and courteous demeanor...offering help with luggage or any other needs. As we inquired about restaurants he gave us good options. Our room was as expected, loving its charming antiquity....and most important a comfy bed. In our two day stay breakfasts were...

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in February at this charming Historic Bed and Breakfast in the heart of downtown. We stayed in the room called Love; bright, clean and welcoming. Comfortable bed (ironed sheets!) and spotless bathroom. Attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable innkeepers. There was also wi-fi all throughout the house. Easy check-in and check-out. Delicious breakfasts with candlelight,...

Parking was no problem, right out front. Breakfast was superb. Amazing French toast, presentation and atmosphere with china and candles. The only thing with more character than the...

Elegance, charm, warmth, style, savoir faire; I could go on. My wife and I arrived in Wilmington late after a twelve hour drive north and found there was not a room to be had for miles around. A very helpful staff member at the Hilton we tried to check into made a half dozen calls before finding the only available...
