We are here due to a hurricane evacuation, so it's been a long couple of days driving through traffic from Miami. It was getting dark, and after reading the great reviews, we decided to stay the night here.

We didn't ask if typically all pet friendly rooms were in one area. However, because all of the rooms are interior egress, it was very nice to have an exit near our room, which was at the rear of the building where the lovely pet area was located. It was real grass, well maintained, and large enough to host more than one dog. We were able to park very close to that entrance and had a key card for that entrance. It felt secure, unlike many facilities, where there isn't a safe clean pet friendly area. We stayed in Wilson, NC right off I95 heading north.
