We had an anniversary trip here and the stay was wonderful! Our room was very comfortable and the staff took extra time to make sure we had a great stay. Wine/cheese social was nice, met some other friendly travelers and the milk and warm cookies before bed was worth the trip downstairs! The only part that was a little uncertain...

We stayed just 1 night on our way to Hilton Head Island from Pittsburgh. We booked a package deal that included a wine & cheese reception at the hotel, drinks, appetizers and desserts at The Carolina Winery, milk & cookies before bed and a full southern breakfast the following morning all for $175.00! The hotel is a old historic building...

We have been coming to this beautiful inn for about 10 years now. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a girlfriend's weekend. The rooms are lovely, unique and comfortable. The wine and cheese reception is delightful, as well as the milk and cookies for bedtime. Convenient to wonderful Old Salem, as well as downtown. Make sure you give Miss Sally,...

I was in Room # 233 over the weekend while attending the High Point Market and my stay could not have been more comfortable or more pleasant. The staff were beyond accommodating and the bed was fabulous!

The rooms have exposed brick (very cool), with exposed pipes (also cool), and the beds/bedding are comfy/nice. I've only seen two rooms, both with double beds, and both very large (room 308, is super large, kinda cavernous). Bathrooms are good, and large, with shower/tub combo. (Towels could be more thick/plush for these prices - hint hint.) Room has fridge, microwave,...

Elegant rooms - from the lower lobby to the breakfast room, to the sleeping quarters. Fantastic staff and love Sally, the house cat! Our towels were a little ragged, but that is such a minor point it is hardly worth mentioning. Free wine & cheese in the evening, milk and cookies at bedtime, and real dishes at breakfast instead of...

Room 101 was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the safety grab bars in the bathroom. Loved the 8pm milk and cookies. Easy walk to the stroll way that leads to the Old Salem Visitor Center. Only drawback was we could hear the occupant in the next room when he coughed.

Beautiful, downtown hotel with very well-documented history... my wife and I spent one Saturday night at this hotel with another couple staying in adjoining room. We enjoyed wine tasting with cheese & crackers. The rooms were huge and well furnished. Very well-maintained hotel with fabulous service. Tremendous wooden beams across ceiling from original building were visible which added to historic...

Just stayed on April 13, 2017. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities are nice. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a very nice complimentary hot breakfast. To top it all off it's walking distance from historic area and several restaurants.

I must be out of my mind as the very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over; expecting a different result. This is the third year in a row that I've stayed in this property at Easter. I have family obligations and the location of this property is perfect. The "idea" of this property is wonderful;...

Rate includes hot breakfast, complimentary wine and cheese reception in the evenings, cookies and milk at bedtime. The Brookstown Inn was built in 1837. The Inn has the charm and ambiance of old-world architecture with all the conveniences of a modern conference facility. Its hallmarks of exposed brick walls and wooden beams enhance its Early American decor and help you escape to the charm of yesteryear.
