The hotel is a two star hotel so a person needs to lower expectations. The room is good size and clean so that was nice. It has a fridge, stove top, microwave in room. Outside sign says rooms start at $1000 for month stay. I suspect some people here are living here. There are three things that made me give this 2 stars versus 3. 1. Breakfast service stops at 9 on Sundays. 2. At least one of the towels in our room belonged in the rag bag versus a guests room. 3. I was making the bed and noticed blood stains on the blanket. Just small stains like someone cut themselves shaving or something but it kind of made me gag. I had that replaced and new one doesn't have blood stains but has some other kind of stains on it.

I would not recommend staying in this motel. Poor customer service, dirty rooms. Most of all housekeeping goes into room hides and steals your belongings! When confronted o no speak English. Management and desk no help, no name tags. Housekeeping went into room before checkout took personal belongings hide behind lounge chair. Was not going to tell or give back. But after threatening to call police did she move lounge chair got cooler and some personal belongings. Said she would return computer in Spanish but she never came back with one. Management when I Went to front desk would not respond walked away. Young front desk stated I only work on weekends. If you like to smell skunk n drugs this would be a place to stay. Police are aware. Rooms were dirty, vents, old frozen food in fridge with dried.

Carpets are stained and extremely dirty. I do t want to take my shoes off. Needs a update badly, as cabinets in the room are damaged. The hallway to the rooms smell like they were wet and not all the water was extracted. Sad story but want others to know

Not sure where to begin so many things awful not right im shocked by positive reviews. Let me list them as many as i can. 1-maintenance: Entrance door wont shut down unless u lift it. Plumbing backs up, dirty room dirty shower dirty toilet. This is no way us standards or name Astoria should be associated with this hotel. Ac duck full of dirty which explain the nasty smell in the room. 2-advertise breakfast included. No food and instant coffee only. Was told breakfast only on week days. 3-check in was 25 min. Not only that despite booked room trough Expedia they write down your drivers license??? #1 identity theft! Plus keep your cc# for life too?? Beware! 4- walls so thin heart people upstairs most night anytime they walked of moved in bed. 5- furniture, is like a mismatched college dorm made up room yet, no dresser in bedroom instead a desk as if a dorm room?? 6- no smoke detector?? No worries we dont only dont care for our hotel, we also dont care for your life. Just stay inside during fire. Not sure how to humor this... 7- dirty colored towels sheets?? So many other things dont have time to write. Cutting corners is not gona make your business healthy in long term.

This motel is way over priced. The room did not smell clean. The swimming pool had so much chlorine it burned our eyes and skin, the faucet in the bathroom was so loose we could hardly get it on. I was told I would get a senior discount, but I never did, no breakfast on the weekend.

Nice place, nice room. But we booked this hotel because it had a restaurant/bar and a pool with hot tub. After checkin and making ourselves comfortable in our nice room, I explored and saw restaurant/bar closed until further notice and pool was out of order!!!! No discounts offered when asked. I was told sorry that's how it goes, I can't change it. Not a happy visitor.

If it wasn't for Delano (hotel staff member), I woudln't give this 3 stars. First, they closed the bar and restaurant 2 weeks prior to us arriving. I suspect we had a mouse in our room as I found some what I think was feces on a pillow on the floor the next morning. I was supposed to get reimbursed for 1 night because we needed to leave earlier than first scheduled but still haven't seen that come in on my bank statement so essentially my card is still being charged full. The pool area is hot and quite small. What happened to pool areas being big where people could sit in there and watch their kids, have a table and chairs, etc.. I feel terrible for the staff that do show up to work. They work endless hours trying to be everything for everyone. Some rooms got cleaned over the course we were there but ours did not. AC filter must have been bad because it was cold in our room but way too much humidity so our sheets felt damp each night. Lots of out of service restroom issues in common areas. Plus side...rooms are big. That was the awesome part. Parking was adequate as well. location is close to pretty much everything in Dickinson and close to Interstate.

Absolutely terrible... from the clerk that took forever to check us in and then directed us to a nearby mall for dinner, that had been closed for 8 months, even though there is a pizza place connected to the hotel... to the filthy room with no housekeeping services for 3 night. Mold, peeling paint, rusty bent paper clip in the hot tub and their much touted full breakfast that also isn’t served on the weekend when they have the most guests. A pure dump. I’d steer clear of this place 100%

We checked in for a 3 night stay, counting on these previous reviews. Upon arrival, desk clerk seemed unfamiliar with the computer system taking an unusually long time to check us in. Asked about dinner for the night and he was unfamiliar with the area and directed us to a mall that had been closed for 8 months. The room smelled of mildew, there was no info or restaurant booklet although there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. Room was filthy and dilapidated. While there for 3 nights, not once did anyone check on our room to refresh linens, vacuum, new cups, toilet paper ... nothing. The pool area was in disarray, with peeling cross beams and walls , accented by 7 or 8 Walmart plastic chairs and one 3x3 table stained with dried Coke or beer... also a twisted, rusted paper clip at the bottom of the hot tub. Also.. when you search this hotel their room pictures include at least 3 pictures of their complimentary full breakfast...which we were told, upon arrival, they don’t serve on the weekends. A complete shambles and would never ever stay there again... I’d advise you all to steer clear Ps. The TV remote had dead batteries which they had none to replace.

The hotel itself was fine. I was on a Buisness trip, during this stay. I was working night shift. The morning of my departure, I asked for a late checkout, to get a couple hours sleep before driving home. I was told Noon was the latest they could do…. Fine! I placed the do not disturb on the door, and went to sleep. 10:30, housekeeping is banging on the door, and trying to come in! Thanks for Nothing! I complained to front desk, They could not have cared less! Don’t Stay here!
