Easy check in. Our room was on the first floor and we could access it from the interior hallway or from where parked our car at the room.
The room was amazing. Large, clean, and well lit.
The king sized mattress was very comfortable and the love seat was also comfy.
The social gathering had really good freshly made pizza as well as free beer, wine and soda.
The free hot breakfast had ham, eggs, waffles and oatmeal as well as other items.
Every employee had a smile on their face and were friendly and knowledgeable.

During my recent stay at the hotel, I encountered several issues. Firstly, there were problems with the front door, which was not functioning properly, and the elevators were occasionally out of service. Additionally, the posted pool hours were inaccurate, causing some confusion among guests. The breakfast provided did not meet expectations and was missing several items. The hotel staff exhibited unprofessional behavior.
I also noticed that the doors to the rooms did not close securely without manual assistance, which raised concerns about privacy due to inadequate door frames. Furthermore, the room keys were prone to malfunction, as resetting one key often resulted in the deactivation of all others. The thermostat in the room was inconsistent, leading to discomfort as the temperature fluctuated between being too hot and too cold. Lastly, I found the overall atmosphere of the hotel to be excessively dry.
The rooms exhibited an unpleasant odor and did not appear to be adequately maintained. The shower and bathtub showed signs of soap scum, while the toilet was not clean. Additionally, there was a sticky residue present on the fridge shelves. Guests should not be expected to provide their own cleaning supplies to ensure a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were the only satisfactory aspects of the experience.
The hotel experienced a shortage of breakfast food items that were not replenished. Additionally, the juice served was diluted, the yogurt machine was empty, and there was no breakfast meat available, with the empty container remaining in place for several hours.

We stayed here for a short family visit. This is our first, and not the last time we will stay here. The big selling point is the hotel is pet friendly! We had 3 rooms on the first floor. We each had an exterior door so we could take our small dogs out on the large green space around the hotel. So convenient!! You don't see that feature at many hotels anymore. There are pet waste bag stations on the grounds, which is nicely maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were clean. And it is surprisingly quiet considering we were here on a very busy weekend. The hotel has a Minnesota Northwoods theme with carved bears on the timber exterior. Very cute! Highly recommend.

Clean, Comfortable, with nice atmosphere.
The first floor rooms have both indoor and outdoor entrances which can be very convenient. Great rustic ambiance and decor.

We’ve stayed at this particular hotel a number of times heading west to see family. The main reason we stay here is we love the manager’s reception. It’s something special other hotels don’t offer. It was definitely advertised as going on Monday-Wednesday…upon our Monday arrival we were told they don’t have it because of lack of help. I do understand that, but PLEASE remove advertising it on your website!
The hotel itself is starting to show its age but overall clean.
This experience of false advertising will prompt us to stay elsewhere next time traveling through Fargo.

Thank you for the review. We do not advertise falsely as it was explained to you while you were here we had just lost our social attendant and we were in the process of hiring a new one. In order to get a website amended it takes several weeks and same to amend it back. We do have social up and running as usual Mon, Tue, and Wed from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. This is a nice hotel! I really liked the log cabin esthetic. The front desk was friendly and helpful, they moved some things around so I could check in early which was awesome. Our room was a double queen and it was really big! It was very clean and loaded with places to charge all my things as well as spread out and work on my laptop.
The fitness center was great it had a treadmill, bike and a cable machine.
After my work out i soaked in the hot tub for a bit and bobbed in the pool. The water was clean and warm and it was hard to get out.
The bed was comfy and warm and clean and the shower was loaded with fresh towels and fancy soaps.
The free breakfast was hot and fresh with tons of options including eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins and tons of other stuff.
The location is right smack in Fargo so you are walking distance to pleanty if shopping and food.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I can't wait to come back next time I am in Fargo!!

Really enjoyed every aspect of my stay! The entire team of staff members were so friendly, efficient, and shared lots of good information. The hotel and room were spotless. Big, relaxing tub and well appointed room with lots of amenities. Everyone wore masks in the common areas and there were lots of hand sanitizers located through the hotel. You can hear some road noise in the rooms but it wasn't too loud. I personally like a softer bed so if I was going to offer a suggestion it would be to upgrade the beds or add pillow tops. Overall, great stay, great people, great Covid protocols, great hotel!!

We were not impressed. The woman working the front desk was very abrupt and not helpful. All she did was hand me the keys, didn’t explain the breakfast, internet or even where the room was. These things were easy enough to figure out on my own, but still. We reserved and paid for a whirlpool room, but were given a regular room with no comp being offered. The hand towels that were hanging up were dirty. Not just stained, they had clearly been used, dirty with chunks of food on them. As indicated in the picture. This made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room.
Overall, the hotel and room were not terrible. However, this hotel is much more expensive than the ones surrounding it, yet the quality is the same or worse. We chose this one, hoping it would be nicer, based on the price, but it was not. My advice- go with one of the cheaper ones so that you’re not disappointed

Yes the pool and hot tub is open. All of the amenities are open and functioning.
Our pool area is geared toward children and is 1.5 feet at the shallow side, with the deeper end at 3.5 feet. We do have some small slides, jumping logs, dumping buckets, and some additional water toys.
8:00 am to 11:00 PM
We do allow pets in 100% of our rooms, so it's no ideal for someone with severe allergies. However, we do keep track of pets in the rooms and housekeeping does an excellent job of getting it clean. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at the hotel directly! We'd love to hear from you!
