If you are traveling to Quirimbas/Ibo Island, this is the place to stay. Lucy is one of the warmest, most helpful people I have ever met. She helped me organize transport to and from the island, as well as island walks, multi-day sailing and snorkeling trips, and dinners with local families while I was there. Further, Baobibo is a little...

The Baobibo dhow safari is dependent on weather and tides and Lucie went to a lot of trouble to check the best timing for this during our stay. The Baobibo boat is a traditional Mozambique dhow with a huge sail sporting the Baobibo logo. Our friend and safari guide, Grant, plus El Capitan and his crew collected us from the...

Me and my friend originally booked only a few nights at Baobibo, but when we arrived and met Lucie we decided to extend our visit and ended up staying with her on Ibo for 2 weeks! The bungalows are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the lounge area is a great place to relax and Lucie's staff make wonderful breakfasts and...

We had an incredible time in Northern Mozambique thanks to Lucie, the gracious host of Baobibo. Lucie makes you feel like part of the family (which includes 10 dogs and 3 cays) and goes completely above and beyond in helping plan your adventure. With little time Lucie helped us charter a sailboat and planned an amazing trip through the islands,...

I had an excellent time at Baobab, extending my stay to five nights, although I would have liked to stay longer. Lucie is a very friendly host with a big heart, who is genuinely interested in her guests' needs and full of good tips for planning your stay and activities on Ibo and the surrounding islands (some of which are,...

Baobibo is clean, comfortable, easy going, organized. Lucy made certain our activities were organized and everything went smoothly. The one day sailing safari was great-snorkeling beautiful reefs and swimming with the dolphins! Breakfasts are excellent and served in an open air dining area. The bungalows are just delightful with lots of screened windows. We stayed 4 nights and wished we...

Furthermore, and above all, the owner and the staff are awesome and will do everything to accommodate your needs and will advise you to get the most out of your visit. Lucie (the owner) will make sure you have a blast...
