This is for sure the most luxorious place on Ibo island. It offers some great gardens with pools and fantastic views. Exellent service and do not miss out on the views from the restaurant, it's the best place on the island, to enjoy a nice drink while seeing the sun set over the sea. Especially Marc and Kisinger, helped making...

An unforgettable experience filled with excellent food, exciting activities, beautiful interior design and history and culture starting from the lodge and extending throughout the island. Service is absolutely excellent and the vibe is relaxed and serene. We didn't want to leave but returned home refreshed and mind-blown. The short flight from Ibo to Pemba is also an amzing experience!

We made a last minute decision to spend a couple of nights on Ibo and hopped on the tiny plane from Pemba and ended up in another world. The crumbling town has been brought back to life by tourism kick started by Ibo lodge and it's a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. Sadly our daughter wasn't well...

The short travel from the airfield to hotel was a bit bumpy and the vehicle a bit grimy but as soon as we stepped inside the lodge we felt like we entered paradise! I will never forget this romantic and adventurous island where time seems to have stood still. The lodge is beautiful and comfortable with the most attentive, sweet and smiling local staff, as well as management (in our case, Karleen and Cosmo) who try so hard to please one's every whim.
