Dear customer, Thank you for sharing your comments on our hotel with TripAdvisor. It is to our regret that your stay was not up to your expectations. Did you discuss any of the complaints you had with the reception staff of Dobrudja hotel? I truly believe that if the manager of the hotel was aware on time about the inconveniences... More

Sadly we chose this holiday at short notice and before checking reviews! There is NO WAY it can justify a 4 star rating as the rooms are old, dirty and stained. The electric sockets were hanging from the walls and the dark, dirty and dingy bathroom had cigarette burns in the sink and the plughole was full of hair. The... More

Dear customer, In connection with your opinion I would like to say that in part of the rooms there has been made renovation of the hotel rooms (the superior wing on the 14th floor). According to the Bulgarian categorization, the hotel is 3*. Making an entire renovation of the whole hotel is a matter of time and of a considerable... More

I am struggling to think of something nice to say about this dusty, decrepit, dated monstrosity of a hotel. While some of the staff are nice the majority are rude and uncaring. Our room although clean (up to a point) had no air conditioning which we had particularly asked for at the time of booking. We shared the room with... More

Very old, very dusty and absolutely no go. This hotel needs to be completely redone! The breakfasts were poor and average. The room was average: used furniture, peeling paints, rough towels. But the surroundings and the resort was beautiful!!!

We love Bulgaria/ Usually we go to Albena, because it has good social structure. last time we stayed in Dobrudja on the 13th floor. We chose a room with the balcony. there were plastic chairs and a table at the balcony, we spent time there with pleasure. You see the sea in its splendour and a lot of swallows. Two... More

Unfriendly and very rude staff, old and not very clean furniture... There was a variety of food, but it was not tasty... One of the worst hotels I have been to. Albena is nice, but don't stay at this hotel!!! At least not until you hear it's been renovated.

The hotel is meant to be a 4 star, all I can say is that maybe it was a 4 star hotel in the 1960s or 70s but has not been updated much since so now it's more like a 2 to 3 star hotel. I stayed a month later than markmctaggart, also on the 7th floor too as this... More

Came for a 1 night break from Varna where I live to get away for the weekend. I love Albena and its a great place for kids and thought it'd be nice to have an evening meal and a few drinks without worrying about driving home. The room was cheap, especially for July (32 euro) and I had low expections... More
