This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The place was timeless, not in the sense that it represents a snapshot in time, where stepping in was like stepping back, but where stepping in was like leaping in to a slow moving river in which you are capable of swimming backwards and forwards; there are artifacts from multiple eras, a Victorian...

This was our first stay here but certainly won't be our last! We were recommended by a friend to go there and they were right on. It's a wonderful property and Jim and Carol are the perfect hosts. It's like you traveled back 100 years in time and are living in a gentler era surrounded by luxury. Victorian style. Carols...

Overall, Jim & Carol go above and beyond and make everyone feel comfortable and cared for. The first night, I stayed in the Lavendar room. It was the perfect size for me. I was so happy to be greeted after a long day of travel with a delicious brownie that was waiting in my room. It was a delicious surprise!...

Hesitant to tell everyone how nice the place was, because I don't want to have everyone booking the place when I want to come back. But, I guess I owe it other B&B lovers out there. Very nice place, with Jim and Carol being hospitable hosts. Room was very comfortable. We were the only guests in the house for our...

Well kept place, with beautiful decor and woodwork! Bedrooms are spacious and inviting, most of them with their own bathroom. The owners provide great hospitality and a delicious breakfast! A great experience in a landmark house!

Jim and Carol were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed at the Garden Room Suite. It was comfortable and relaxing. The room came with modern amenities, which was great! The food was amazing and delicious. Security and privacy is very important to the innkeepers and that gave us piece of mind. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would be...

My train arrived late evening. Location was the main reason I chose this B&B. I love to walk, so lodging has to be within walking distance to Amtrak station. Was quiet worried to walk when it's dark, hardly no street lights, I used my smartphone light and google map GPS was on. Mr. Carr welcomed me outside the front porch....

I was in town on business and was delighted to find the Dakotah Rose! The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the hosts, Jim & Carol are warm. I will definitely stay again if business brings me to Minot in the future.

Lovely mansion with lots of character. We stayed in the Victorian Room Suite. The room was spacious but the decor seemed a little busy and a bit overboard on the "rose" theme. To each their own. Air conditioner was noisy and the bed was too soft for our liking. However, the hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was amazing....
