I stay here quite a few times a year. The staff here are very nice and the rooms very comfortable. The coffee shop is good for breakfast and lunch. I like to eat and drink at taps when it is open. If you play vlts the Oak Room is good too.

Look. I travel all over the world. And i have stayed in stupidly fancy places as well as some disguisting holes. The Lakeland Inn is a bit like home. Very friendly staff. And the bed was exceptionally comfortable! And i like a climate control heating/cooling system that doesn't force me to select the "auto" choice. I hate when the air or heat turns on and off and on and off...... the Lakeland rooms fan STAY ON! That means constant white noise, masking any idiots that may be around making noise. The rooms were clean, bathroom clean, bed awesome and places to eat without going out in the -30 degree weather. Anytime I am i Cold Lake, I will stay at the Lakeland Inn.

Must be a new staff training day, food service was slow and incorrect orders. Offer to just slip proper fillings under first order was received with disbelief. Use to be good location to eat in town. Will be a long while before returning.

I was here on a two day business visits, and checked into Lake Land Inn, conveniently situated between North and South Cold Lake. The staff from the front desk to the various dinning rooms, housekeeping and essential services were pleasant and extremely helpful to assist and weary customer after a 3 1/5 hour drive from Edmonton Airport makes you feel refresh anytime. The best part is the Manager of the facility Andre, professional and pleasant to meet every guest inquiries wether minor or miscommunication with the reservation, he make sure that the guest is given the best assistance and support from his staff at all time.

We stayed 3 nights during Alberta Senior Games. Service in resturant was excellent and I am very happy when resturants use Canadian ketchup. Coffee was also good which is another sign of a good resturant. We were served an excellent buffet every morning, Lady serving coffee really worked hard to keep the coffee flowing and cleaning tables. Excellent service. The room was very clean every day and everything worked fine. It appeared renovations had been done recently as the carpet was new. Check in and check out was good and staff were friendly. There is a bar attached to hotel, Taps, where we had drinks one night. Service was good and waitress was friendly and efficient.

The Lakeland Inn has a very good restaurant in its complex. We understand that the restaurant has recently been modernized. The room is the Crossing Grill has a nice decor, the staff are friendly. They have a sushi chef right in the restaurant so everything is made to ordered and it is fantastic. The Jambalaya was wonderful if you like spicy, drinks are not overly priced. The only thing was the calamari was a little over cooked but was well presented on a bed of salad. We would definitely return for the sushi and to with try other things on the menu.

When we drove up there was nothing to capture the attention when you look at it but I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were newly renovated, comfortable and roomy. The food at the cafe was very good. A comfortable stay.
