There's a sign in the window of the Highwood Views B&B that says "May all who enter as guests leave our home as friends," and nothing sums up their hospitality more perfectly. Highwood Views is a comfortable, cozy space with views that defy description. Colleen and Patrick made my two-night stay in their home absolutely perfect, helping me learn about...

My husband and I recently spent a night at this B&B as we had an early morning appointment at the High River Hospital. Colleen and Patrick were superb hosts and went out of their way to make us feel right at home. We had a nice visit with both of them during our short stay. As previous reviewers have stated,...

Due to the recent floods in High River my relatives booked my wife and I into the Highwood Views B&B as their home was badly damaged in the floods. What a great place to stay with fantastic views of the Rockies, nice clean rooms plus the hospitality shown to us by Colleen offering her sound knowledge of the area and...

We, a party of 6 including two seniors, three adults and one toddler, are from Hangzhou, China to experience Western Canada in late August of 2013. Our stay at the Highwood Views B&B was a wonderful experience, more so even than the high expectation we already held prior to the stay, based on the recommendation of a local friend, Chris....

At the risk of making this B&B too popular we must give it the highest possible rating. The rooms are great and the hospitality a delight. Even while coping with the effects of the flood on another property, Colleen took the time to make sure all of our needs were met.

Hope I can use this space to let travellers know that High River is renewing and becoming able to support visitors again. Although Highwood Views Bed and Breakfast was not physically affected by the flood, the owners were very involved with volunteering, first with providing a safe "home" for evacuees and then helping/supporting the community in gaining access to their...

This place is special. Everything in the house is immaculate. The welcome is fantastic. Colleen's knowledge of the area is amazing and we so appreciated the time she gave to share it with us. Breakfast spot on as were the cookies! Can't recommend this place highly enough. If you are considering it then just go for it, you will not...

Highwood Views offers a chance to relax in the quiet of the wide open country with spectacular views of the Rockies, ranch cattle grazing and hear the lone call of coyotes in the evening. The surrounding gardens are beautiful with many relaxing areas to sit and enjoy the views. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. Star...

We found Highwood Views on TripAdvisor and we made our four-night reservation several months in advance; they were quite responsive by email. They are located in a very relaxing setting way out in the country, with the Rockies visible behind the house. The house was very nice and comfortable, and the drive out is quite pleasant. Colleen demonstrated enormous hospitality,...

The rooms and home were clean, gorgeous, warm and welcoming. Breakfasts prepared and served by Colleen were homemade, delicious and nutritious breakfasts- she was a great hostess! The mountain views were simply amazing and mesmerizing. Mornings-go for a walk, eat breakfast in the patio, smell the fresh air, see cows, horses, hawks and other wildlife. You can explore nearby places...
