Stayed here when the water wasn't functioning at home. I was in the main building. Slept well and had a good breakfast. Staff were very nice. Clean bathroom and also a clean room. I would recommend staying here.

I stayed one night in September, as I was in town for work. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the food and service in the restaurant were great. Only downside was the restaurant was a little pricey.

We stayed here for one night while on a motorcycle trip. We chose it because of the location. Close to fast food places etc. It wasn't anything to write home about but was OK for one night. The place is not very sound proof but that's normal for a lot of places.

After a long day of driving we choose to stay at the Walking Eagle. There was absolutely nothing to complain about, the room was very clean, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The free breakfast was excellent, no Continental meal here, a full meal in the restaurant and very good service. All the staff we encountered were friendly and... More

Despite having a huge book with the Tour of Alberta cycling race this hotel was very well organized and the staff were really friendly/helpful. Rooms were basic however very clean. The only thing is the usual free breakfast that is given to guests was not accorded to the Tour of AB guests but that apparently was negogiated with the Tour... More

Plenty of places to stay in Rocky Mountain House, However I selected this one because it has a great restaurant attached. The room was clean and quiet, but definitely showing some age. I'm not one ti fuss over little things like that, and if you aren't either, you will enjoy your stay. The attached restaurant serves suppers that can rival... More

Just came home from staying here for the third time for gathering of friends for golf tournament. This hotel is older but has the best staff! They have gone the extra mile for our group every year. Breakfasts are included & good. Housekeeping staff are always helpful & accommodating . Will definitely stay here again next year.

We had a womens motorcycle rally here this weekend. Breakfast was included in the registration. CLEARLY this hotel wasnt prepared for 200 women for breakfast. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for breakfast. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! This rally was booked over a year ago. They knew we were coming. Why would they have only two girls working in a hotel... More

Expectations were met. Older hotel with basic amenities. Price was OK. Room was "surface clean" but don't look too hard in the corners. The creepy old flowered bed spreads could certainly use an update and the hotel info guide in the room lists music channels that are not actually available with the cheap cable. Plus side - beds were comfortable,... More

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your time. We have been updating our rooms, and are about 50% complete, we apologize if you did not get to stay in an updated room. We had recently upgraded to an HDTV package, and our provider removed the music channels by error. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to have them... More
