Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We chose this hotel because if the pool however when we got there there was a sign up that the pool heater was temporarily broken, that was unfortunate and something we felt they should’ve mentioned. Room was clean, we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the paradise room. Breakfast really surprised us, you’re able to order omelettes with meats, veggies, cheese, ect along with the usual continental fare. Most of the staff were very kind and helpful however our last encounter with staff when leaving room keys at the front desk upon checkout was less than desirable. Gina had apparently sprayed the counter down to clean then left it without wiping it down. No one was at the counter when we came down so we left the keys on the counter when Gina came out and got irritated, started huffing and puffing and rudely asking us if “we could just not leave the keys there” as she was cleaning. We could’ve gotten a room at another hotel for half the price I paid here in Three Hills so I would definitely keep that in consideration if you’re going to have people like Gina at the front counter interacting with your guests. Paying customers should never have to deal with employees that carry attitudes this way, there are plenty of people out of work these days thats she could easily be replaced with someone happy to have a job. If you’re not bothered by disgruntled employees I would still recommend this place, it’s a comfortable stay and a good value.

Thank you for staying with us at the Super 8 Three Hills. We appreciate the time you took to leave us a review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed our lovely Jacuzzi room and that the breakfast was more than satisfactory. We strive to meet or exceed our guests expectations. I do apologize that you felt that Gina was rude. When we disinfect our counter tops it is recommended that it sit 6-8 min (according to our ECOLAB disinfectant supplier) on the surface to properly disinfect. She had just sprayed the counter top and didn't want you to ruin your lovely leather purse by setting it on the counter. I am sorry that this was your departing encounter, it was not her intent to upset you but to protect your property. I hope that you do understand. Thank you for your recommendation and we hope to see you again in your future travels.

We stayed here 3 nights. The first 2 were in the Escape Room and the last in the Paradise Room.
Both rooms had huge jacuzzi's in the bedroom area with plenty of towels.
The second also had a fireplace.
Although Super 8's are typically on the lower to mid end of the hotel scale, this one really tried to make sure all areas of our stay were enjoyable. Our grandkids who live in 3 Hills used the pool with no problem.
Breakfast was a choice of hot or cold which was a great change from a muffin in plastic wrap at other hotels.
Over all we had a great experience.

The photos show laminate flooring in the rooms – if this is important to you for whatever reason, make sure to mention this when booking as our room had carpet. If you are travelling with children, please know that the waterslide is located in the deep end of the pool – if your kids love waterslides but are not strong swimmers, they may be disappointed (the water was too deep for our kids - which we found out the hard way. As one needs to stay well clear of the area at the base of the waterslide to avoid collisions, this limited where our kids could play in the pool). The breakfast was decent – the staff certainly work hard to keep everything flowing. The family slept really well, which is important. If you’re using the alarm on your phone to wake, and are accustomed to having your alarm on the nightstand by you while in bed, be mindful to charge your phone before bed (our room didn’t have power outlets near the head of the bed and there was no alarm clock). Oh, and the water tastes funky (it's likely a quality of the water in the area and this would be out of the control of the hotel - but it's good to know) so be prepared to get water from the convenience store located in the parking lot.
Really, it’s the customer service that we experienced here that makes the place.

We stayed in Three Hills instead of staying in Drumheller due to price and it was a great decision. This hotel was great. Our kids loved the pool, we all loved the breakfast and the savings staying there instead of Drumheller was more than worth it. We used the on-site BBQ for dinner one night. We were able to see so much more of the badlands by doing this. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this establishment for a hockey tournament the weekend of February 18th. We knew not to have great expectations of the property itself, so that is not where the problem came from, it stemmed from the owners of this location. They were absolutely horrendous and do not know the meaning of “hospitality”. If you are a hockey team traveling to Three Hills, DO NOT STAY at this location.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast was available, despite the COVID-19 restrictions, which was not the case in hotels we visited on our trip. Good location for families with children.

The pillows were terrible...lumpy, bumpy and only one available per person to even choose from. Carpet was coming off the wall and floor with staples sticking out. Breakfast was terrible... no cream for coffee, eggo waffles (last time I stayed there was a waffle maker), chicken nuggets for breakfast?!? (not my thing anyway).
We were there for a hockey tournament. Us parents who were visiting and watching a hockey game quietly and respectfully in the lobby/ breakfast area, were told to go to bed at 10 pm when the manager come in and turned the tv off mid game. He then 'shooed' us to our rooms and told us to "go to bed, its sleepy sleepy time".
If you are a group or team of any kind, do not stay here unless your plan is to isolate yourself anyway. I also think they made the elevators look like they were out of service just because there were teams staying.

The hotel was nice and quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and lots of choices. I liked the hours too; 5:30am to 10am which allows you to leave early and still have a meal. There was a good restaurant in town, E&W , good value and tasty.

They advertise continental breakfasts, but had sausage, omelettes, chicken nuggets, ham, hash browns and more. Was great

Rooms were a bit dated, but clean. Staff were very friendly.

0400am fire alarm for 10 seconds with no explanation or apology the next morning was a bit weird

Hot tub is out of service.

Overall a good place and would stay again.

Our family is happy we stayed here for a weekend trip with extended family! Great waterslide and hot breakfast. Some of us played games one evening in the breakfast room where we could see others enjoying the pool. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good price. We drove into Drumheller for day trips.
