I stayed here for a week since I was doing a practicum at the hospital and I couldn't have picked a better place. Bev is very welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The house is very lovely and every room is well kept and have very large, soft beds and many kinds of pillows. The breakfasts Bev makes every morning are always more than what I could eat and was always delicious and different each day. If you are ever in Wetaskiwin, this is definitely the place to stay.
So glad we visited with our friends at Heritage House rather than staying at a hotel. We felt most welcome as soon as Bev greeted us at her door, along with a lovely tour of her 1907 built home and beautiful gardens. It's very peaceful, no traffic noise, rooms are comfortable and quiet. The living room adjacent to the main floor bedroom was an inviting place to sit and visit with our friends and also to get to know a bit about our fascinating host. Breakfast was fabulous to wake up to with a delicious selection of dishes each morning...much tastier than any restaurant breakfast. We certainly will visit here again.
Stayed here for a wedding with my wife. We had our own washroom (not all rooms have this) and the lady takes a real passion in cooking. Breakfast was worth +$20 alone! The house is set up like a business, not like staying at aunt Mae's or something. For the price and the stay I would have no reason to stay anywhere else in Wetaskwyn
My Husband and I stayed here while I was pregnant 2 years ago, and loved it! Bev is a very kind and friendly person who makes you feel very comfortable in her home. We stayed in the garden room because it has a queen bed and private bathroom. We enjoyed ourselves so much that the next time I was in town with my Son and Mom we stayed again! We stayed in the West Wing Room which has a King bed and we were both very happy with this room.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights a few years ago, and we just had another two night stay. Bev is such a friendly, warm, and gracious person. Her house is cosy and inviting, and she serves the most fabulous plentiful breakfasts! We stayed both times in the garden room, which offers a lot of privacy. The bed was comfortable, and the room very clean. We will definitely be back again next year!
