Everything was great the only thing to keep in mind is there is no Bar only a restaurant and they have Beer, Wine and hard A. but no Alcohol allowed in the Hot Springs and to be honest the large pool area is only 98 ish F and with lots of people it drops to below that. The Cave area is 104 F and is nice. The saving grace is in the AM from 0800 - 1000 am it is hotel guests only and it was heaven. But soon after that they sell day passes and it gets busy fast and kind of detracts from the Hot Spring experience.
Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir in 3 Kanada Urlauben finden durften. Vielen Dank für das Erschaffen dieses wundervollen Platzes. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, die Aussicht grandios. One of the most beautiful accommodations we could find in 3 Canada vacations. Thank you very much for creating this wonderful place. The facilities are perfect, the view is magnificent.
We stayed in the downstairs flat last week while on a cross bc/alberta motorcycle tour. Which means we can't bring much except our clothes. The flat is very spacious, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. It's got a great view from the balcony, and a swim in the lake after a hot day is only a few minutes away. Of course, across the street, and I mean RIGHT across the street you have the awesome Ainsworth hot springs, which was truly amazing and enjoyable. Great restaurant also. This is a great place and we will be back for sure next time, but for longer. Very reasonably priced, actually a bargain for what you get.
We booked two nights in the lower floor condo. Location is great, right on the lake and across the street is the hot spring. Lake view is right at the window. The suite is spacious and very clean. The decoration and furniture arrangement are indeed very homey! No wonder many reviews say they don't want to leave the place! There is also a fire place that we actually used in one of our nights and it worked well. The room has electric heating too but the fire place just adds more seasonal touch to it. Kitchen is fully equipped even with olive oil and some spices. People mentioned the smell in the bathroom in previous review, and I think it is still there. You can leave the fan on to reduce smell though. The things I think could have some improvement is first to replace the cooking pan with some non-stick pan. The current one is too easy to burn. Then this comes with the second which is the vent system in the kitchen as currently there is not any. With a burning pan and no vent, the room can be filled with smoke quickly. In such cold winter days it is hard to keep the windows open to get the smoke out. So either a non-stick pan or some vent hood in the kitchen would be helpful. Overall it is lovely place and I wonder how fun it will be in summer time!…
This is the ultimate condo place to relax, enjoy and also enjoy the hot springs directly across the road. The condo was unbelievably stocked with all the comforts of home. It was beautifully furnished in an elegant but comfortable setting. The only thing needed was great beverages and good food which they suggested we pick up at the grocery stores in Nelson, B.C. No small stores available in Ainsworth. The condo was quiet and peaceful and the view from the deck was just perfect. The deck was large, well furnished with chairs, loveseats and even a terrific large BBQ. A stroll down on the beach was enjoyed as well. Getting a chance to go to the hot springs was a total pleasure. A day pass is a really good bargain. Went up there several times the first day. Our stay was also a real bargain compared to any other places in the area.…
