Enjoy your stay in Alert Bay!
Alert Bay is incredible and just down the road from the ferry dock is the Seine Boat Inn. TerryLynn greeted us at the hotel and I automatically felt the small town charm. Loved chatting to her and her easy manner. Rooms are nicely finished and we had a water view/deck on each side of the room. Convenient to have a kitchen as well and very comfy beds! I would definitely stay here again
We had an excellent stay at The Seine Boat Inn. It was rounded off by the lovely lady of the house who cared awesome about us. Fantastic and adorable views! The room and evertything at the beautiful area - it's really a great experience.
The vistas were beautiful, the room was perfect for our three girlfriend retreat. The bedding was spotless and fresh. The tiny kitchen was just perfect for our needs. Nice clean bathroom and great towels. Our hostess Terri Lynn was delightful and we loved chatting to her. Alert! Bay is a gem and the community is very friendly. Go with an open mind and you will be surprised!!
Turn right coming from the ferry to Alert Bay and you already arrive at Seine Boat Inn, a beautiful inn with rooms on poles over the water. An astonishing view over the see when you sit at your table or before your room. At night, we heard the relaxing sound of water flowing under our sleeping place. A well-recommended inn on an island that has quite some indigenous atmosphere!
We had a wonderful stay at the Seine Boat Inn, the room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was really comfy and it felt like a cozy home away from home. We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely be back. Terry-Lyn was always very helpful and accommodating in a warm and friendly way. We met Colin, the owner, and he was a wonderfully colourful character too, with many stories to tell about Alert Bay. The village is a great place to visit, so much to see and do, but also a great place to just relax and take a breather. The Seine Boat Inn was the perfect spot to do that! We will be back for sure!
Lovely quiet suite , comfortable and warm . Great location near ferry and on/over the ocean. Still some flowers blooming on the covered porch on November. A great mix of character and contemporary updating.
I have to say that our stay at Seine Boat Inn was absolutely amazing. Our host Terry Lynn was so helpful with suggestions on things to do. The room was beautiful. Ocean views to East and West, large and wood throughout. The beds were so comfortable. I can't wait to return next summer.
We stayed at the Seine Boat Inn for three nights at the end of September, 2021. The Inn is incredibly charming - a perfect place to stay while enjoying the peacefulness of Alert Bay. We stayed in rooms 201 and 202, and they were both lovely and very quiet (even though 201 overlooks the main street in the centre of town). The flower garden on the main floor deck was beautiful, even though it was the end of September. The owner TerryLynn was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I stayed in a luxurious and spacious king room with a panoramic ocean view. We greatly enjoyed sitting on our huge, private deck that was perched directly above the sea. The Seine Boat Inn was such a peaceful retreat with wonderful hosts, Colin and Terry Lynn. We appreciated all the colourful flowers on the decks, the comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, kitchenette, and cleanliness. Even though the weather was rainy while we were in Alert Bay, we were able to relish our time in the cozy living area with wall to wall windows and a vaulted ceiling. We will definitely recommend this unique and beautiful place to our family and friends.
I had a delightful stay at this beautiful hotel built over the water. Once through the gate, after parking below an old wooden wagon and crossing the street to enter the gate with an old English vehicle on display; the view is spectacular - art work and an array of colourful flowers adorning each suite with comfortable individual sitting areas. The rooms were spotless with comfortable beds, thick luscious towels and a well appointed kitchen area with basics included such as delicious coffee. Also, the room had both a back door and front door opening onto balconies. Alert Bay is a special place to visit, almost like the clocks have stopped. The locals are friendly and you just may connect with some to see some local art. I’m looking forward to another stay to enjoy the culture, the wilderness and the friendly atmosphere. 💕…
