The Bayside Inn is a stones throw from the B.C. Ferry dock. The ferry runs from Port McNeill. The inn is above the grill and the pub. There was no noise concerns. We ate in the restaurant. The fish and chips were great. Our room had two Queen size beds in it as well as a futon. There was a kitchen as well. There is stair lift to climb the 17 stairs. It is handy. It is clean and the food was good.

This place needs a reno... or really needs to close down. Old and filthy inside. The owners are just the 2 of them, and they seem to be trying to run the restaurant and hotel. The rooms are dirty... do not stay here...not worth the stress.

It was clean...that is it. Got one key from the owner. He said we din't need another. Guess who left their key in the room. Guess which owner was angry. No AC and the bath tub toiletries consisted of a rather old large container of soap that was congealed in the bottom. The same with the shampoo. The door lock had been broken and not repaired. A note left on the main door told us to look for the manager, serving tables in the restaurant upon check in. We got a receipt like you would receive at a store. We had reservations for 3 days and we left after 2.
