This was a fabulous place to stay. Reasonable rates and pet friendly. Clean renovated rooms, quiet and nice ambiance. Blue River itself has way too many mosquitos but not much the hotel can do about that.

This is the perfect half way point between Edmonton and Vancouver. We stayed overnight before heading off to Vancouver. There is a gas station right across the street. This is a good hotel for family with small babies. The room was large enough for babies to crawl/walk after a long drive. We all love the bed including our babies. This hotel has no elevator, just the stairs. Although we stayed right below the stairs, we don't hear loud noises from the outside at all.

This is a lovely, rustic little spot. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The stay was quiet and peaceful. We've stayed there more than once and would definitely recommend the Glacier Mountain Lodge to friends. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is I thought it was overpriced for the type of lodging.

When we drove up I was a little worried at how tired this hotel looked. We were very tired when we arrived and were a little bummed that we had to haul our suitcases up the stairs. I usually pack everything but the kitchen sink and it was tough to do so. If you have trouble with stairs ask for a room downstairs. But, I was pleasantly surprised when we got into our room. We had 2 queens and a single which would be good for a family or a group. We were at the back of the hotel and overlooked the forest. It was very quiet the whole time we were there. The room was updated with nice furniture, white bedding, and an updated bathroom with thick white towels. And, if you are a TV person you will be happy to find they have lots of channels to choose from in the middle of nowhere. There was a Continental Breakfast that wasn't too bad. They had bread, bagels, croissants, boiled eggs, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee.

Room Tip: We had a quiet room at the back and if you can't do stairs ask for the main floor.
