We were looking for a place to stay and came across the Bear's Claw. Aside from the potholes in the parking lot, the room was quaint and clean plus the service couldn't be beaten! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Bear's Claw!

We stayed here whilst travelling from Prince George to Vancouver Island. I loved the look of the place when we stopped here for a meal several years ago. The rooms were small but very nice. The only thing thing that could be improved on was that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room, which I found quite odd. The...

Horrible !!! Not sure how this place has good reviews. The price is much more expensive than its competitors, while it looks like a cheap motel. The room was very basic and outdated, and one of the towels we got had something on it that looked like feces. The walls are paper thin. Even with the tv on we could...

Bear Claw was not our first choice - the regular hotel/motels were sold out. Looks nice on the outside. Check in was efficient but we could not get into the room - the door lock was broken. We were moved to another room and it was basic = bed, tv, mini fridge that did not work, clean bathroom with signs...

After a day of driving for 9 hours I ended up in Cache Creek. I drove by this place thinking 'Hey that doesn't look too bad.' But I'm a points freak so I thought I would see what else Cache Creek had to offer, hoping to find a chain hotel. I speculated on four or five other hotels and surmised...

This is a typical small town restaurant that serves greasy "American" food. The menu consists of burgers, sandwiches (BLTs, turkey clubs, etc), and salads, all of which are basic and boring. Not wanting to eat a giant, fatty burger with fries, I opted to order the garden salad. It was incredibly underwhelming....just some iceberg lettuce, with slices of tomato and...

The staff were very pleasant and accommodatingly helpful. Parking lot is duty gravel. Room was clean but door was warped enough to not fit the jam. Somdirt comes in. There was an exposed electrical fire detector on the ceiling. ...food was a once in a lifetime thing....never again in my lifetime!

but our room was small, in fact it was tiny. Nice clean bathroom and good off street parking. There's a very nice bright restaurant attached and they do serve a very nice breakfast. Small selection of gifts available. For evening dining, you can dine in or there are other options along with a pub within an easy 10 minute walk...
