My husband and I are full-time RVers who work summers in Barkerville. On our way back a few year ago we stopped here over night to break up our trip. It was one of the best things we could have done. The hosts are cheerful and very helpful. The park is very clean and well maintained. The best FREE showers....

The campground has very good facilities; washrooms, showers and pool are always clean. The sites themselves are close together though it still manages to feel comfortable. Brookside is central to near quite a few day trips in the area. Cache Creek and Ashcroft are minutes away. Ashcroft has a great museum which was full of history and also Desert Hills...

This is roughly 3 hours from home, so it often serves as a stopover. After working all day, we can be here before dark and have a nice relaxing dip in the pool. There are showers, laundry facilities, golf nearby if that appeals to you, close to town.

We stayed here one night in a small motorhome with a tow vehicle. We had no problem navigating into our full service site. On either side were behemoth motorhomes, each with a tow vehicle, so no problem with big rigs either. It was hot the afternoon we stopped but it was much cooler at the campsites thanks to the mature...

Stayed 1 night. Staff is friendly cost was cheap, had a fire pit at my campsite. There are showers and laundry facilities. Lots of tent sites and like they say they are always available unless it's a long weekend. There are some larger and more private sites on the west side. If your in a rv their store is nicely...

The campground is OK but we would not come back again. There is not so much space between RV sites but mainly we were disappointed by the difference between promise and reality. There is also a part of the campground that looks more like a junk yard with parkerd vehicles, trailers and other stuff where we had to keep our...

Lovely place to stop, very welcoming and good facilities. Prices are competitive and it is just off the highway so very easy to find. They have a nice pool too. When we visited it was 30+ degree's so nice to have 30A hook up for air conditioner. The town is just a short walk.

Wide sites and lots of trees. Very important when you are in a desert area. Clean facilities, good pool for the kids and free showers. Dog friendly. Quiet camping even though it was almost full. Walking trails off the site.

very hard to navigate in if you have a large rig. Also office would show open but if you wanted info on the area there was no one around. My biggest was lack of hot water in shower house. The interior is mostly dirt with some gravel. lots of dust when we checked in and muddy when we left.

Lovely campground nestled in trees and down in a valley below Canadian Hwy 1. Our 31' Class A and towed vehicle fit just right in our campsite on gravel. Full hookups and sewer.Had a picnic table and fire pit and trees. Also a wooden fence about 6 feet wide and 4 1/2 feet high separate the campsites. There is a...
