I stayed one night on my way to Prince George. This is a small, well maintained motel with character. The restaurant serves good, fresh, basic food with large portions. The staff was friendly, helpful and competent. My room was on the ground level with parking right in front. The room was clean, tidy, updated bathroom, quiet and had all I needed. There was a little fridge, microwave and coffee maker, hairdryer and a couch. It seemed like the local residents frequent the restaurant, always a good sign. There is a 24 hr convenience store almost across the street that has a little bit of everything!
One recommendation I have is that the cleaning staff change to non-scented products. The sickly sweet scent was a bit overpowering when I first walked in the room. It did subside or I got used to it.
The WiFi did fluctuate a bit so I wouldn't want to depend on it for work but it was fine for my needs.

Were on our way up from Vancouver to Quesnel and decided to break up the journey. Great place to stay.
Shockingly good motel - lots of little things that should make it a higher star motel. Well appointed, aesthetically pleasing motel and rooms, with little things like extra hooks to hang stuff, shelves, counter next to microwave for prepping snacks, scenic deck outside rooms with tables and chairs relax and snack. They were having a particularly busy day and restaurant ran out of many items, so we were not able to eat there, but were able to get some snacks from the 24/7 Canco gas/grocer and enjoyed them on the patio.
Friendly owners.

The main building with reception, restaurant and pub is a really quaint wooden house, which we really liked. The overnight stay takes place in the second house at the back of the main house. This has the advantage that you can not hear the sounds from the highway and sleep peacefully. We had our double room on the upper floor with balcony and views of the place. We even had two double beds, which would not have been necessary. But we were able to sleep very well. We could park our vehicle free of charge in front of the house. In the pub we ate and drank delicious things. It's easy to talk to the pub manager here, who is a real power woman and "kicked the shop." The night was great.
We would love to come back here again in case of a repeat.

Our family stayed here twice coming and going an our vacation. It was off season but they have a great restaurant with good reasonably priced food. It is very comfortable and old and young enjoyed their meals! The hotel itself is spotless, everything one might want when they come in late and tired. It is an excellent place and I strongly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed one night on our way back from Vancouver. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and after a day of driving the beds were super comfortable. I would recommend the Cariboo Lodge Resort to anyone staying in Clinton and we will definitely stay here again.

This is a quaint hotel but although on the surface the room looked clean whenI had to move the fridge the dust was about an inch thick and back of bed and fridge hadn’t been dusted for years!!
The buffet breakfast choice was poor and the hit meals cold.
The staff were helpful and pleasant.
Would I stay here again…..NO

Stopped one night and are glad we did. It was cozy and comfortable with modern conveniences like a microwave, refrigerator, television, and coffee pot. The bed was comfortable, there was adequate lighting, and the bathroom was modern. We had to walk across the grass from the parking lot to get to our room, which was a little unusual, but it was nice to have grass and a picnic table outside the room to use. The walls are a little thin, but we did have very quiet neighbors so that wasn’t a problem for us.

We always book directly with a hotel as we have been burned by booking online. It was easy to book a very reasonably priced 2 night stay by phone.
Super friendly gal when we checked in and later she was our waitress at their restaurant, where the service and food were great. All the covid precautions are in place so it felt very safe to stay and to eat there. The restaurant was so good we had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there. The hotel room is very clean and it was very quiet.

We stayed in room 115 on the 12th nice clean room with a good shower. Nice quiet room on the ground floor. Restaurant in the lodge and within walking distance. Room had everything you would need. Beds are a little hard but ok. Nice well kept grounds and parking.

The rooms are clean and comfortable but unless you enjoy arguing over the details of your reservation with defensive, slow staff that do not care if the hotel gets return business then I would have a real Clinton experience and stay at the rennovated Nomad motel down the street. We're a pretty chill couple but the combativeness that came immediately when we had a question about our reservation after waiting for about 20 minutes (seriously) at the front desk was quite appalling and bewildering. We had to laugh about it with some other guests - at least we made some friends out of it!
