Going to Dawson Creek for one evening ended in a snow storm and being stuck for an extra night. The pool isn’t open and Lilly at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi tub so our daughter could enjoy herself in it. The hotel itself is dated but it was kept clean and comfortable. The breakfast is top notch as far as continental goes! Everyone was really friendly and went above and beyond to help us out in a trying situation. We will be back next year!
Stayed on business for 3 nights. The Stonebridge is a great place to stay - location is good for access to the town and there is a restaurant on site. Staff could not be nicer or more accommodating and customer service is exceptional - every request was met with a smile and I was given an extra late checkout, without any fuss and no charge. Rooms are clean, spacious and functional.
I would definitely stay here again. We picked this hotel because it has some dog friendly rooms. We had a spacious, comfortable room. The breakfast was fantastic! There were lots of hot and cold options.
Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! Will be calling health authorities. Period blood stains, public hair and skin scabs! Then when I brought it was brought to there attention they offered 10 dollars back from a $200 room! No concern from them at all!
On Friday night after a 16 hour drive with my 3 kids we decided to grab a suite at the Stonebridge for the night. It was about 11pm and we were exhausted. After checking in, feeding my kids and letting them unwind we got into some pyjamas and got ready for bed. I decided to pull back the bedding on my sons bed for him - and was I ever happy that I did. The sheets were covered in what I assume is menstrual blood, pubic hair and scabs/dead skin. And I mean covered. I was absolutely disgusted. These beds were “made”… I immediately called down to the front desk, and was met with an attitude that almost seemed like .. “what do you want us to do?”… they said they could see if they could find another room for us - so which I accepted as I had been traveling all days and have small kids whom had been in car seats all day. I told the front desk that I expected a manager to rectify this in the am. They let me know they would “call me back”.. when they found another room. 15 mins later I phone them to ask what the hold up is, as it’s almost midnight. They finally found a room, did not offer assistance in moving all of my bags, play pen for my baby etc. And acted as though I was doing them a disservice. When you pay almost $200 for a room, and then run into this, you’d think they would be more helpful. Not treating you like your an annoyance. In the am I checked out and asked the girl at the front desk what the management wanted to do to rectify the situation. She said she was “authorized” to give me $10 off my stay. I found that to be a slap in the face, let her know they could keep their $10 and told her I’d be posting publicly. She gave me a “go ahead” stare and continued whatever she was doing behind the desk. We are frequent travellers and guests and will now stay away from the Stonebridge franchise as they clearly don’t care about their guests or the cleanliness of their establishment.…
