We spent one night in Egmont. Our room was large, very clean and had all the comforts of home. Easy walk to the Skookumchuk Narrows trail. The views of the Inlet and the Marina from our balcony were amazing, especially in the early morning.
My wife and I stayed four nights and found the place basic but quite acceptable in all respects. We had a balcony that got morning sunshine and had a great view of the water. The staff were friendly and efficient however the store hours were only from 10:30 to 4:00.
I recently stayed here with a couple relatives and we rented the suite. The space was perfect! Very clean, comfortable and plenty of space to stretch out. The beds were comfortable. Not to mention it had everything we needed, and if not, the general store was right there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The best part by far was the big covered patio with several gravity chairs to take in the breathtaking view and sounds of nature. Would definitely recommend!
I can't really fault this place - we stumbled upon it when booking a last minute hotel while cycle touring through BC. What a find. It's at the end of a winding and magical small road through fern-covered forest, passing a beautiful small lake. The hotel room was spotless, thoughtfully designed with a super-comfy bed. Coffee is on hand, via a Keurig coffee machine, with plenty of capsules provided. The bathroom was spotless, with good quality soaps and shampoo provided. The view from our balcony was spectacular and the lady who runs the place was lovely. A 5 minute walk up the road takes you to the local pub, which serves really good quality food too. Highly recommended - we loved it. It made a huge impact on our holiday.
What a place! This was a visit to remember. Great little motel with Marina and General store. The room was clean, bed was super comfy and with kitchenette in it, made it super convenient. Amazing view of the harbor right out the window The owner Joey was very friendly and knowledgeable, helping me plan activities for my stay. Renting a boat and going fishing was a must. The Skookumchuck Narrows rapids were also really impressive! Lots of hiking and lakes around to explore made for an action packed visit. The general store has everything you could ever need and want! Great selection of beer as well. Has groceries, fishing and hardware supplies The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect to help unwind and take in the scenery. I will definitely be back Thanks again Joe, till next time!…
