We stayed three nights whilst visiting a friend. Lovely position overlooking the water with black tailed deer wandering through the property. Breakfast is served on a tray outside your room so you can eat inside or out. Substantial healthy food.

Spent 4 nights while visiting family on the Island. Judy and Doug did an excellent job. Very comfortable, quiet and clean accommodations. Didn't use the pool as didn't have time. Great breakfast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice get-away place to stay.

Spent 2 nights at this B&B. I had to work on Gabriola and was recommended to stay at Manana. It was just fantastic. It was lovely, clean, quiet and relaxing. The pool was a much needed treat. When my lovely breakfast was served, I realized that I was dining with a Deer and her baby fawn. What a nice time.

What a fantastic place to stay! The room was gorgeous and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the view was wonderful. I never wanted to leave! A special thanks to Judy for being so friendly and understanding when we missed our ferry and didn't arrive until after 11pm. Definitely a must visit Guest House. I will be back!

Stayed for three nights in May 2013. Manana is nicely situated on the island: a 5 - 7 minute drive to The Village & Nanaimo ferry terminal, and close to Sandwell Bay provincial park. It's inland, but on a high point overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather was not great while I was there - I would have loved to...

Cannot say enough great things about this B&B. Private entrance to your very own deluxe and fully appointed suite. Not a detail is missed. Fridge, tv, ipod stereo, it's ALL here. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and served to your room on a tray. Eat outside if you please, too! There's also a pool which is very rare on Gabriola....
