I am a business owner who booked on booking.com and stay 1 nght with my family. IT didnt appear that covid rules were really implemented. WE saw room was very modern and nice but found many dirty dishes and old moldy coffee in the maker, no coffee for morning so we went to saveon and got some. It was for spring break with were just driving through town and needed a stay. After the lies of their repsonse on booking.com that i trashed room and wanted all my mone back was actually untrue. I have been awaiting owner or a manager to call me since the stay. The front desk girl was nice and was surpised i havnt been contacted. With the lack of housekeeping i felt unsafe to stay in room that may have covid..

The motel was updated completely not long before my arrival. EVERYTHING is new. The room is extremely clean and comfortable and all the amenities are first class. A highlight is the sliding door out to the lawn area behind my room, with a view overlooking the river. Perfect after a long, hot day of travel. A short walk and you have plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Was to tired to continue and stopped at Johnny’s Motel. It’s a simple no frills place to stay. The room was clean so was the bathroom. What I liked was the BBQ which can be used by guests. The person in the reception was friendly and helpful. The picture which shows a pool is misleading as the pool looks like it has not been filed with water for years. Grass and small bushes grow on the pool deck and in the pool. In fairness it should be removed. Some rooms need a step (do not have one) to get to the river side of the room) It is a steep step out of some of the rooms. Some rooms have steps on the back door

Stayed here after a day of riding the KVR. Wasn't sure what to expect but went by the reviews when booking. Rooms were very clean with lots of towels. Little patio out back along the river to sit and relax. Walking distance to downtown. Definitely recommend if you are simply looking for good value and nothing fancy.
