We visited this resort for a birthday lunch. The owners and staff were more than congenial, the food was excellent and the lodge and view: both were breath-taking. Nothing was too much trouble and we leisurely spent several hours here. Lunch was inside but dessert was on the spacious wooden deck, overlooking the lake. Games and activities were at hand... More

Am currently here for a two night stay and am thinking I will turn it into three!!Gorgeous property and amazing view. Staff is awesome and food is beyond delicious. Everything is so serene and peaceful - cannot say enough about this place - except I'm saddened I didn't come here sooner ! Bonus for people with dogs - they are... More

Stayed here more than one night on different occasions in December and the view was beautiful, inside and out, the owners and workers are friendly and wonderful. I came and sat and talked with everyone like friends. The beautiful 20 foot christmas tree that fills the middle of the main lobby is sight to see in person in the winter... More

I stayed at the Williston Lake Resort in early December for work in the Hudson's Hope area. It is a short (30 min) drive from the town and a wonderful "home away from home" to return to after a long day of fieldwork. The rustic wooden lodge is beautifully constructed and the Swiss German family who manages the Resort is... More

I was out in this part of the country for about about 7 months due to work; this remote rustic log resort was an amazing fit for my life style. The staff are amazing and super friendly. The lodge overlooks the Williston lake and the beach is accessible. The home style cooking is amazing and i would definately recommend it.... More

My wife and I have returned to this resort three times, the resort exquisite with beautiful views great food and very friendly owners and staff. The location allows for great boating, fishing, hiking, trail rides, we have in the past spent 3 to 4 days here with our three preteen boys and they never wanted to leave, my wife and... More

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, who was here for 7 weeks total for work. This is a remote wilderness resort, so you can expect spotty cell service and mediocre internet. Neither were problems for me. It felt very cozy and like home, only with staff checking to make sure my coffee/wine/gin was constantly refilled. The staff... More

We had trouble finding accommodation before driving from Prince George to the WAC Bennett Dam, and glad we persevered. With a slight detour after the tour of the dam, we found ourselves in this lovely log lodge overlooking the reservoir. We had a lake-view studio - clean, most everything we wanted, had a nice evening meal which they cooked to... More

Stayed with a friend for one night. The lodge is nicely built, a solid installation with wood throughout. Fire not on despite being freezing outside. My biggest gripe was with the slack staff. They are all Swiss German girls, and while this might sound like an allure, they are a very rude, unchatty bunch of young females, who mope about... More
