Forgotten Hill sits on a very private and gated, 148-acre Estate, overlooking the vineyards of the Naramata Bench in British Columbia, Canada. We offer large, luxurious rooms with amazing views overlooking Okanagan Lake & the Ponderosa Pine covered surrounding hills. We designed Forgotten Hill to be like a small, very select and private hotel. Each room has its own deck, king size bed, HD TV, fridge and AC. Gourmet breakfasts are served every morning. Prices start at $229 per night. We're right on the KVR (Kettle Valley Railway), a world renowned hiking & cycling trail & we have over 25 wineries to visit within 5-10 minutes. Nature, quiet, wine tasting, swimming, hiking cycling, relaxing, golfing, para-sailing, kayaking - there's a lot to do & see. We even have charging stations for ELECTRIC vehicles, including a Tesla charger. Lastly, come try the wines of the highest elevation winery in the South Okanagan - the Forgotten Hill Wine Co - only steps away, right on the same site.

After years of staying at a now-closed in Osoyoos, we have been looking for a new place for our anniversary getaway.

Cherry is a wonderful host, thinking of every detail and outfitting the rooms with quality linens, an informative binder of how everything works, and some beverages (coffee, tea, water, juice).

The breakfasts are delicious, featuring locally-sourced items whenever possible. The croissant from a nearby baker are fabulous, the fresh juices tasty and not overly sweet, and the breakfast area is beautiful. Sadly we were smoked in but I I look forward to taking in the view on a future visit!

We stayed here for 4 nights in the Island room, which was spacious with a fantastic view of the lake. Cherry, our host was warm and welcoming. She cooks the best breakfast! It’s quite an experience to sit in a well maintained garden full of blooms overlooking the lake while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Location was convenient however you will need a car or a bike to get around (to restaurants etc). Highly recommend this place if you are looking for something luxurious and quiet. We will be back again next year.

You really lucked out with the glorious display of lavender. The best ever, I think. And the weather was pretty darned good, too. I look forward to more chats in the garden... And thanks for visiting us.

Cherry is the consummate host, and was attentive to our needs. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed with a fantastic view and lots of fresh air.
The location is remote, very quiet and a beautiful natural setting.
We really enjoyed our visits at the garden lookout point with Cherry, after she served us her amazing gourmet breakfasts.
We could have spent all day chatting with Cherry, but we did thoroughly enjoy our bike ride on the KVR, that passes right in front of Forgotten Hill.
Looking forward to our next visit!

We recently stayed here for 3 days. It was quiet, peaceful and the views were spectacular. Our hostess Cherry clearly enjoys her job and we appreciated the friendliness and her attention to detail. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was just right for us. Many details were well thought out and breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed 2 nights at this wonderful perch on the hill, overlooking the bench and Lake Okanagan. Considering the concerning state of the wildfires, the Covid 19 recovery and the lake of staff in the tourism industry, this was such a nice break. Simply amazing breakfasts were offered every morning at 9am. They got us through the day, despite the lack of restaurant options in the area. Clean, well appointed with a friendly proprietor. We will be ack

My husband and I recently spent 5 glorious nights at Forgotten Hill B&B. We stayed in the Elephant room which was very spacious with great views. It was so great to have a King bed that was so very comfy, room was very well appointed and very clean.
Cherry is a fabulous proprietor and a great chef. Breakfast was amazing and sitting outside up on a hilltop with a panoramic view was incredible.
Thank You so much Cherry for such great hospitality, it was a pleasure to spend time with you at your oasis high up on the hill. Fran & Derek

We loved every aspect of our stay at the Forgotten Hill B&B. The hosts, the room and facilities, the breakfast and of course the view of the lake. We will never forget the afternoons we spent absorbing the beauty of the sunset with local wine. We will be back.

A fantastic experience! Our room was impeccably presented, and sooo comfortable. We'll be back for sure. The bed and linens were superb, and our hosts were exceptional! You really have to want to get there, though. The road in has it's share of surprises on the way to the summit. All in though, a spectacular view of the lake region.

My husband and I went to Forgotten Hill to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Little did we know it would be such a wonderful treat! The owner, Maya is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The room was beautiful and the view was breath taking! One morning we had our delicious breakfast on the balcony overlooking Lake Okanagan, Naramata and the vineyards below. The second morning we enjoyed our amazing breakfast out in the autumn sun in the courtyard. All the best to you, Ben, Maya and Lily as you await the birth of your baby.

Congratulations, again, D. & D. on your 40th anniversary. It was a privilege to provide the setting for such an important occasion. September in Naramata brings breakfasts in the sun, the start of the grape harvest season & the Fall Wine Festival. And, in our case, it brought charming people such as you two to Forgotten Hill. Next time, now that you've discovered Naramata, come & pick up some more fruit for your family & take part in the grape harvest…

Spent 3 wonderful nights at this gem! It was a bit challenging to find Forgotten Hill (if we had looked at a map or used printed directions there would have been no problem, but we love an adventure!). Inn keepers were friendly and welcoming. The views from this quiet hillside are beautiful morning and evening. The location for hopping on the KVR on our bicycles (or on foot) is ideal. Bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. Breakfasts were DELICIOUS. We'll be back!
