We stayed at several b/b in Naramata over the last few years. This is by far the best. Perched high up on a hill, stunning views and close to all the major wineries. Comfy beds and top notch breakfast . Plus the in house winery had some of the best wines on the bench. The innkeeper Cherry is quite the character, she not only is an expert wine consultant, but also has a vast knowledge of the surrounding areas and many entertaining stories to tell. We highly recommend this place. Thanks again Lora and Harry.
We came back to Forgotten Hill, this time with friends and for a longer stay. And we had another great experience. One night we bought meats and cheeses in Penticton and had a great dinner with our wine purchases of the day - warm enough to start outside, then move inside as it cooled off. Cherry has great spaces inside and out. Lots of fun (again). Thanks Cherry!
Forgotten Hill B&B went beyond our expectations - amazing views of Okanagan Lake and Naramata, beautiful clean rooms with the most comfortable beds, delicious gourmet breakfasts prepared by the hostess Cherry who was so lovely and made our getaway so special. The wine was amazing (wish we had brought more home). Thank you again Cherry for all that you did, we will definitely be back. xox Karen & Tony
Forgotten hills is in a beautiful location, off the usual beaten track but close to all the action in Naramata. As you travel up to the house you wonder if you are making a big mistake because you travel up and up the hillside and then hit a dirt track - but have faith! We were met by one of our hosts Cherry who was so cheerful, positive and knowledgeable about the area. We were immediately made welcome and the view was stunning. The accommodation is nicely set out with good comfortable beds, a tiny kitchenette (no microwave etc) but very basic with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a small disposal 'picnic box' of paper plates and plastic spoons and forks. The bathroom was good and the surroundings were also very comfortable. Breakfast is a special…
This place is too cool. The views are ridiculous. The breakfast is stunning, especially when you are eating outside with panoramic views of Okanagan lake. Your host is Cherry and she is a great character (and chef). She also leads you through a fun wine tasting. We have already booked our next trip.
It is run by a lovely family. The rooms are new and modern, the bed was very comfortable and the views are incredible , the best in Naramata! Great hospitality. They are very accommodating . We were tired when we arrived so ordered food in and enjoyed a lovely bottle of their wine. The drive to get there is a bit unusual as it is way up on a dirt road and not that well marked so I recommend you get there in the daylight! The way they have done the grounds is well thought out, works with the area and is enjoyable to have breakfast in or to relax with a glass of wine.
We had a wonderful stay at Forgotten Hill Bed & Breakfast. This accommodation leaves nothing to chance because everything you could want in a b&b is provided. Beautiful house with a separate guest wing. Large suites with fireplace and balconies. The decor is tasteful and grand, especially the comfortable king size beds with quality linens. Big soaker tub and shower combo in a spacious bathroom. The vanity had room for all my toiletries and a hair dryer was provided. Ample closet space and a mini fridge and coffee maker. The breakfasts are just the best. Eating outdoors on the sunny patio with beautiful views of the lake and Naramata. A bit off the beaten track means privacy, quiet and tranquility. Try their delicious wines made by their in residence, award winning, winemaker. We…
Out of the way, private and quiet. Located high on a bluff featuring a 180 degree view of Okanagan Lake. Winery and tasting room on site. Breakfasts are exceptional. The owners are a lovely couple and very accommodating. Highly recommend.
A perfect weekend was topped off by the most absolute perfect stay at Forgotten Hill B&B. The hosts, Maya and Ben (and her mom!) were probably the nicest and most accommodating people, so helpful too! They helped us pick out some places to visit! And Maya's breakfasts.....no words could describe good they were, such a great way to start the day: enjoying breakfast outside, taking in the breathtaking view they boast on top of the hill. Everything in the room was spotless, spacious, and super comfortable. Honestly...I can't wait until my next visit to Naramata, I will be staying here for sure, and most definitely recommending in to everyone I come across!
The Forgotten Hill B&B sits in the hillside overlooking Okanagan Lake in B.C, Canada. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are incredibly large, the beds are the best I've tried, the views fantastic. Maya, the proprietor, is the cheerful soul of the place and whips up some incredible breakfasts. My wife and I had the time of our life staying there. I just can't think of a nicer B&B we've ever stayed at. I understand the place was designed and built to be a B&B upfront (rather than converting an existing hose), maybe that's why it felt so comfortable. In any case - wow!!
