On the plus side, Panorama Springs has one of the best locations in the village, with ski in ski out from the back door, and the hot pools right there too.We also had a condo with a great view over the village. But the whole place is looking a bit tired; the decor is a bit drab, the appliances in the condo kitchens are a bit old, and the direct route to the pools is a dire staircase and corridor which gives the impression you're going to the janitor's cupboard, not the resort's crown jewels. The owners of the village need to spend some money on the place to raise its standards.

This is our 2nd stay in the wintertime and 3rd overall. We've always loved the location right in the ski hill with very convenient ski in and out. Lockers are provided to lock up your skis just inside the hotel. Our rooms always have a small kitchen which is great for firing up a quick breakfast before skiing. Parking is heated and underground which has a 7.5 feet clearance which easily accommodates a large suv with skis on top. Free wifi is available near the main lodge but is spotty in the rooms. The big outdoor pool is closed for the winter which leaves a smaller pool and a large hot tub. The hot tub is quite hot which is nice when you have to walk outside to get to the pools and its cold out. Panorama springs is the only hotel in the village where you dont have to go outside to get to the pools. We were disappointed this trip with 2 things. Firstly, the towels are changed only every 3rd day. We find the towels are still damp the next day and for the cost of the rooms, I expect more. Secondly, because it's a long weekend in Alberta, we had to book a package that included ski tickets for 2 adults even though we I only have 1 adult skier. They told us when booking that the package for the room and 2 adult lift tix would be less than booking the room and buying 1 ticket separately.
The village is quaint and very easy to get around with a little gondola that takes you from the upper to lower village. There is a grocery store at the lower village which has everything from liquor to cereal and steaks. You do pay a premium for everything as one would expect. They have a free shuttle ton invermere a few times daily. You can go to the supermarket in town for less pricey groceries but it's about 15 kms away.
All in all, we still love the location but we hope that the hotel makes some changes to keep us coming back.

One bedroom unit with a pull out bed, new carpeting throughout. Gas fire place, balcony; ours faced the pool area. Hot pools, with two hot tubs and a sauna. Again the location was great close to all restaurants and main ski lift. Overall a great stay would have liked to extend our stay if we could. Late check out was available. Would recommend if in the area.

A few steps from the ski lift this lodge gives that essential on the slope feel. Clean and serviced with a full kitchen you can pick and choose how you want to cater for your party, either stay in or enjoy a night in one of the local restaurants. We had breakfast in everyday and because the resort was quiet returned for lunch most days. Be aware that the local supermarket is very small and has limited stock. Its that good we have rebooked for Jan 2021 and will take the complimentary bus to the next town with a full size supermarket.

I spent 6 days in the Panorama Springs and 4 days in the Taynton. The rooms are fine but the wifi was abysmal. I couldn't load a single page, let alone use youtube or social media. Unbelievable how poor the wifi is here for how expensive the rooms are. I am just disappointed in this basic service for any hotel service to be so sub par. Please do better Panorama Resorts.

Stayed in the Panorama Springs Lodge in a one room suite. Rated it poor as it’s in need of upgrades and major renovations. Carpets and walls are disgusting so at the very least needs a major cleaning. Definitely overpriced! However, location is awesome and views are amazing. Next trip we will book in Invermere and drive up the hill to golf GreyWolf which is the only reason we went.

I was here last week with a large ski club. Big buildings all part of the same resort co. Springs is the one that has the large pools you see in the photos.Very quiet rooms[for my group]. I was staying with the trip leaders and it took the staff 3 days to fix our room phone. Wonderful skiing here. Very few places to dine/ no nightlife. I have never, never seen this. Water in covered cups is the only drink allowed in the hot tub! There are tub Nazis to enforce this! As I have said before this is Canada bring you own boose. Also this place charges for wifi. Bring a humidifier in winter.

Our room was situated on an upper floor with views directly on to the slopes and mountains behind. A good large double bed in the bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room provided plenty of bed space and the fairly well equipped kitchen gave us everything we needed for our stay. The gas fire provided a comforting central point and the twice weekly housekeeping service was, without exception, excellent. A ski storage area on the ground floor provides ultimate convenience for ski in/out. Laundry rooms are provided and well equipped.

Stayed for one week in the Springs in a single bedroom unit for 4 people. Room was OK with better than usual soundproofing between rooms and floors. Only time we heard anything was on Friday night when resort fills up and someone had loud music on, and the Saturday night drunks who were yelling outside on their balcony. The room was a little dated and needed some basic repairs like the vertical blinds on patio doors leading to balcony was missing a few slats or had slats suddenly fall down. Normally this would not bother me, except unit was facing other units so never felt private at night. They don't give you any dishwasher soap, so we would load the machine assuming they wanted to run it themselves. Unfortunately they don't clean the rooms every day, so with 4 people using plates and a small machine, we were out of plates after 2 meals. They do provide liquid for hand washing the dishes, but who wants to do that on vacation! Bring some dishwasher soap from home so you can run it more often. The tiny kitchen garbage would also fill up quickly, and I would try to bring it to the Garbage and Recycle room advertised in the elevators. Unfortunately, that is where the directions ended. After stepping off the elevator and playing "Where's the Room" for 15 minutes, I just started putting trash and recycling in different public cans. You should really have a sign with directions once you step off the elevator.
The ski in/out is well located and the locker room is large. Unfortunately, the lockers are school locker size with hooks that make the space very tight. We had 3 pairs of skis and 1 snowboard and it required a planned packing order to fit, and we never managed to fit in the poles. Remove the hooks and I think we could have made it work much better.
Resort shuttle to Invermere is convenient and great for stocking up on groceries from major chains. The town center is an easy walk from the Sobey's so it is easy to combine a visit and grocery shopping into the same trip.

There are two ski rental shops virtually alongside the Panorama Springs complex. Use the warm springs entry/exit and Lusties coffee shop/ski rental is located about 50 meters away. Lusties I found to be the best of the two shops. Enjoy. Geoff.
"Don't stay in room 109 at the springs. It's under a common area used by guests with no kitchen in their room. Basically sounds like a heard of buffalo over your head all day and sometimes it lasts all night."
"We were in room 408 - excellent view of hotsprings and mountain. Beautiful balcony, sun shining in. No crockpot. TV is an older version so no HDMI ports for your tablet. There is a DVD player. Great coffee maker, bring your favourite kind."
There are more places to choose from in the Panorama area.
