Stayed here for 3 nights. The place has been full renovated. The only problem is that no where to hang your clothes, no closet. Suggest they put up hooks in the hallway & a few hangers, spread apart. Nice family run place, staff. Great view of the port.
Centrally located in town but in a quiet area. Easy walking to all amenities. Room was small but comfortable and besides we weren’t there to sit in the room! Very clean and bed was good. Great place for a stop-off for the ferry. Restaurant and liquor store on site.
Nicely updated room, clean, comfortable with a functioning kitchen and good bathroom. Quiet location and very good value. Definitely will stay again if ever we return to the Port McNeill or Telegraph Cove area.
We were super impressed with our room at the Dalewood Inn. The rooms were recently renovated and were so clean. We had a comfy bed with very nice bedding and a spacious bathroom. There is a shared kitchen space where I could wash up my dishes, freeze our ice packs, make some tea, etc. Sanitation products were handy and this space is clean just like the rooms. The hotel itself was quiet and the staff friendly and helpful, aiming to please : ) Rooms at Telegraph Cove were very expensive so we opted to try out this place, a short drive away (20 minutes or so). We made a great call doing so as we heard the heritage rooms at Telegraph Cove were scary.
We stayed 3 nights at this very clean and recently renovated motel. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with any of our requests. The room and bed were very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We highly recommend the Dalewood, as it is in a great location to take in the beautiful nature of the surrounding area.
The staff is very friendly and informative. We enjoyed talking to Cindy and the next day the brother was at the desk and we liked talking to him, as well. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. The ocean was a block away and the restaurant right next door had good food.
I recently stayed for one night at this motel. Cindy at check in was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and bright. The beds are comfortable and the motel is well situated. It is a great alternative to the high cost of rooms at nearby Telegraph Cove.
Stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The staff/owners are warm and so friendly. Extremely helpful and had great chat on phone making reservation and getting great description of the area, recommendations on where to go and things to do. The room was newly renovated and extremely clean. The staff on hand to help with any request and couldn’t do enough for us. The room we stayed in was small though, bare essentials and no closet and not a whole lot of sitting space. So this particular room would not be suitable if you were staying long term or had lots of luggage as space was limited. That being said, I’m sure they have bigger rooms. The room was bright, clean with great windows and a beautiful sea view. Quiet. Has an small restaurant in hotel as well as a wine and beer store which is great convenience. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful, friendly hotel.…
Recently renovated rooms and common areas with fresh paint and carpets.. Clean and comfortable. Friendly, laid-back staff, easy check in and out. Plenty of parking. Wi-fi that works. Decent restaurant attached. Close to the centre of town and shops. Pet-friendly hotel with laminate flooring (no doggy smells!). Everything we wanted in a hotel.
Full glass front provides excellent view of ocean front. Staff are friendly, fast, and very helpful. This was our second visit to this place. It is always busy. Food was well served, tasty, and priced OK. I plan to come back and spend a few days in the hotel as it looks like a very well maintained business. Ample parking in back of hotel. Open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner.
