Super clean inside and out. Hot tub, fire pit, easy walk to a very nice pub/restaurant down at the marina. We had some guys in the hiker huts and some in a cabin, both were excellent. Huts have shared shower and bath, cabins have everything including kitchens.

We were a party of 4 on our first fishing trip ever. Connie was pleasant to deal with and in fact all of the staff were very welcoming. On the night we arrived the staff were having a little gathering and welcomed us into their group. We all shared a salmon that was caught earlier in the day and it...

I organized a kayaking trip for my boyfriends birthday for an 8:30 appointment 2 weeks in advance. We traveled 2-1/2 hours to get there for 8:00am. When we arrived, we rang the intercom and there was no response. After a lot of confusion and 15 minutes later we rang again and someone responded. We explained the reservations and they said...

Our group of two couples just had another wonderful visit with Trailhead Resort. Despite going quite early in their season and experiencing some really strong tidal flows at Swiftsure Bank, our skipper Josh Walker did manage to find us five chinook, a nice hatchery coho, and four big "chicken" halibut. While we were delighted with our abundant catch, we know...

This resort is exactly as advertised and therefore there was no disappointment. It is clean, quiet and well appointed. The staff person who greeted us was helpful and friendly. My only wish would have been for a table indoors as the room is large enough to accommodate one and as it was February, eating on the deck was no tappealing...

First the bad. The three of us had just finished the West Coast Trail and wanted a place for the night to clean up, dry our stuff and restock before continuing with the Juan da Fuca Trail. This was the first place we tried and we felt that we were an inconvience to the owners. Yes we looked dirty and...

This is an excellent resort. I've stayed here 3 times in total and have enjoyed each time. We have gone out fishing each of these times. If you are going fishing, make certain to bring warm clothes - even when the weather is hot, it gets quite cool out on the water. Also make sure to take a bathing suit...

We enjoyed our previous visits to Trailhead Resort that we convinced our neighbours to join us this year on a one-day fishing trip to Swiftsure Bank with a a two-night stay, fish processing, and all meals on our day of fishing. Trailhead is one of the few resorts that provides one extra overnight after the last long day of fishing....

We took our 9 year old Grandson to see the Botanical Beach. We stayed at this hotel and it was perfect for us. The room is clean and bright with two queen size beds, a kitchenette and lots of room to move about. There is a balcony with table and chairs. The treat for our Grandson was the hot tub....

Small but well-appointed for a 'hut'.. The mattresses were comfortable, and the thin comforter was just right. There is a baseboard heater to take any chill off. My only complaint was the total lack of shower pressure in the detached washroom about 50' from our hut. It was literally like a standing under a barely throttled garden hose, so I...
