We were looking forward to staying here after hearing about the new renovations. The staff was really friendly, bathrooms are gorgeous and the view is beautiful but there was some issues with the hotel. First off it is not easy to get into the hotel parking lot, locate the office or get out of the paring lot. We were here on a week day and there was limited food options within walking distance. There is also no place on site to get breakfast. Second, if you are wanting to watch tv or do work the cable and wifi cut out often and only a few channels available. Third, the room we stayed in was very small, and had a dirty looking carpet with an overwhelming cleaning fragrance (not ideal if you are sensitive to smells). There was an air conditioner but it was really loud. It would have been nice to have the deck doors open to get fresh air in but lots of bugs and moths flew in when I tried to do this (screen doors would be nice). Overall it was an okay hotel but very expensive for the rooms.

There are still renovations taking place that you are not made aware of at time of booking. There was an awful sewer smell coming into the room. Could not sit on the deck as the smell was too bad. The balcony glass doors were cloudy. Paid full price. Made the management aware but they only said ‘sorry’. The food at the restaurant was good, however we still got wafts of the sewer smell on the patio while we were eating. The decor was nice inside.

Love the location and the view is top notch! Newly renovated, there are a few growing pains and glitches to work out for sure, but price is fair given this. Beds are comfortable and room was very clean - staff are eager to please and help with any issue so all in all, pretty good value. If you are expecting 5 star, this isn’t that type of place, but for a small town beach front location, it works. Bonus - restaurant on premises worth a visit.

Room Tip: Top floor more secure, and higher up view…but all rooms have unobstructed ocean views.

Easily one of the most revolting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. All the other guests were like drug addicts or homeless alcoholics and the rooms are cheap and tacky. It should be torn down.overpriced and badly run.
