I had a wonderful relaxing break from a hectic life. A serene setting, very comfortable bed, clean rooms and fabulous waterfront view. What more could you want if retreat is what you seek. We loved everything about Takahashi Gardens! Peaceful, quiet, relaxing, comfortable and clean. The owner is lovely and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay. The cottage is very well equipped (always love the provision of slippers and a robe!) This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway and we can't wait...

We can't recommend the Nikko cottage highly enough. Our host, Elaine, went way above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. From the spotless cottage with all amenities to the luxurious bath robes and slippers to the private hot tub and lovely view. We will definitely be back again. Sechelt is a good spot for restaurants and walks...

Close to all amenities, walk to the waters of porpoise bay, hot-tub in all three locals with kitchens, fireplace and TV/internet. Love this place I would highly recommend it for all travellers business and pleasure. Elaine is the bestest she'll take care you and make sure you enjoy your stay.

We stayed in the Umi suite. The suite was beautiful, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable! The view was incredible and the suite felt very private. Can't say enough about this place. Really clean. Relaxing quiet. She has everything you could think of. Wifi was great. Sleeps 2 in the cabins. Awesome view from your deck . Will go again. Elaine is friendly and helpful she helped me book a spa great price 80 for the full massage.

My husband and I were very excited to come here after reading all the great reviews! It definitely was such a treat. It was perfect. Such a welcoming and relaxing environment. Room, kitchen and bathroom were so clean , it felt as it was all brand new, never used. Bed was very comfy! Kitchen came in with all your needs...

One of the best places I have ever stayed :) Such feel-good vibes. Wonderful job Elaine. You are a most gracious hostess. Thank you so much for the beautiful oasis you have created for the rest of us to share and enjoy. Recommend 100% We preferred the Nikko suite, and have yet to try the Yama. Perhaps one day...
