I stayed 2 nights in the eagle suite at the Beach Hideaway. The view and the Hideaway property is spectacular. The Eagle Suite is what you might expect in a 5 star luxury hotel room. The suite was spotless with a kitchenet, large queen size bed, TV, beautiful bathroom with large jet nozzle soaker tub & shower. Outside on your private deck is a barbeque and a private hot tub. A highlight was the awesome breakfasts that Marsha would deliver to your suite. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to the Sunshine Coast.

This is the place to stay on the Sunshine coast! My boyfriend and I came for his birthday weekend and we enjoyed our visit very much, didn't want to leave! Marsha, the owner, is so friendly, dedicated to making your stay enjoyable and she cooks amazing breakfasts which are presented so well, even brings them and clean them away in the morning. The room was stunning (we stayed in the Sea to Sky Loft), everything we needed and more; coffee, tea, mini fridge, milk, sugars, and a well stocked pantry. The room was also very clean and comfortable. The views - amazing. Just steps from the beach!

My wife and I recently stayed in the Sunset Suite at Beach Hideaway and we were not disappointed. The friendly hosts cater to your every need and the suite is so amazing, you will not want to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer. The ocean views and sunsets combined with all the available amenities make you so relaxed, you cannot help but relax and soak it all in. If you want a getaway any time of the year, we highly recommend visiting Sechelt and when you do you must stay here. You will be glad you did!! We are going to return again very soon.

Our experience was unbelievably amazing. What a beautiful place and surroundings to unwind, relax and explore. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, swinging in the hammock, enjoying the sea breeze. Marsha (the best hostess ever) delivered daily breakfasts, which we ate on the overlooking the ocean patio, that were different from what we are used to, but again they were amazing and filled us up till almost dinner time. It was quiet and serene and we can't wait to go back next year. What made our stay even nicer, was the perfect weather.

My husband and I stayed with Marsha for 3 nights in April; our only complaint was that we didn't stay long enough! We travel to the Coast at least 4 times a year to visit my elderly parents; due to COVID, we didn't want to stay with them.
We stayed in the Sunset suite and it was amazing. Large and spacious, with fabulous views. I laid in bed each morning and watched the ocean. Marsha is an amazing cook and breakfast was outstanding every day! She respects your privacy in yet asks if you need anything else when she brings you breakfast.
The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and cozy, the steam shower and super jet tub was such a treat. There were tons of fuzzy towels and we appreciated that as well. We had a hard time choosing the hot tub, jet tub or steam shower so rotated between all! The little kitchen has all you need and grocery stores are a two minute drive. You have your own BBQ and we made a lovely steak dinner one night and it was amazing and romantic.
Marsha has beautiful gardens and it was easy enough to find the location. Long and short, outstanding service, cleanliness, beautiful changing views, comfortable room and we will definitely stay again just to have down time on our own.
My only one suggestion would be to add plastic wine glasses (we went and bought a couple from the Independent store), so that guests are not taking glass to sit in the hot tub. We are conscious of that as we have our own hot tub and no glass is allowed.
I was very hesitant to give 5 stars but ONLY because we selfishly don't want it to be fully booked next time we come back! Thank you Marsha. :-)

We stayed at the sea to sky loft, where essentially you get to enjoy your comfortable patio with a firepit and stunning panoramic views of the ocean - physically distanced with your own area if preferred. That majestic sunrise and sunset everyday overlooking the ocean is something else. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach just down below was awesome.
Marsha was wonderful as always, attentive, welcoming, with delicious breakfasts every morning. All the amenities are clean and thoughtfully prepared for a very pleasant stay. Around the area, people are very friendly and respectful of the physical distancing measures. Highly recommended. :) We look forward to returning many times.

We came here the first time in 2013 and have been coming here once a year since, except maybe a couple of times. We’ve always been in the eagles suite. Love the layout, the view, our own hot tub. This is the ultimate relaxing place. The views are amazing. The sunsets exceptional every day. The breakfasts are amazing, you never know what you’re going to get and every single time they were delicious. Marsha is an amazing host, always friendly and ready for a chat. We’re sorry to hear she will be moving on. We hope her successors will be as gracious and welcoming then her. We wish her all the best. Until next time Beach Hideaway ❤️

We eloped at the Beach Hideaway this summer. And I wouldn’t recommend it. The Pros: The location is amazing, beautiful views, impossible to take a bad photo, lovely space down by the water to have your ceremony. The breakfast was delicious. The suites were spacious and great for our entire party. The Cons: It just wasn’t very clean. I wanted to enjoy a bath but found the tub covered in soap scum. My friends tub was the same. The coffee provided is terrible. The price of the elopement package does not match with what you actually receive from Marsha. Maybe she’s finding the uptick in business too much to handle, but she stopped responding to my emails and didn’t provide much information about what would actually happen until the day of the wedding. And finally, Marsha invites herself to the ceremony, which was a bit weird considering our families weren’t even present, and she did not ask to attend, just showed up. Perhaps we would have felt more inclined to have her attend had she given us any customer service? I think it would make better financial sense to rent a private property for the weekend and do it yourself.

Hi Carly, I'm so sorry that you were not happy with my services. I take you complaint seriously. I will address them . First I clean and scrub the bathtubs with comet and if I didn't rinse the comet off well enough it may have left a residue of comet on the tub but be assured it was not soap scum. I will do my best to do a better job on rinsing the tubs. I'm sorry that you felt the coffee was terrible I will look into it. I have hosted over 200 elopement weddings at the Beach Hideaway in 13 years and this is the first complaint I have receive and I'm truly sorry you weren't happy as I know how important your special day is. You first booked in Jan 2020 for a May 2 elopement and was postponed to Aug 29 due to covid. I made all the necessary changes to accommodate the new date. Over the course of planning we had over 25 emails back and forth. I was very accommodating when you asked for a later check out. I made dinner reservations and then canceled them when that was not what you wanted. I made sure I prepare vegetarian and allergy restrictions for the breakfasts. I serve breakfast to all at the same time so every one could eat together I did my best to accommodate you. Finally I did not invite myself to your wedding. I was only bringing the champagne to pour for a toast after you were married and I have never partaken in that toast other than to deliver the champagne to so you could toast each other. The champagne is not included in the package but is a gift from me. When you asked me why I was there and I replied to pour the champagne for a toast after you were married. You told me to leave and I promptly left. I left the champagne for you to enjoy my gift which you did. When Shawn came to me after the ceremony to ask me to join you for a drink I did not feel comfortable in doing so. I gracefully decline. I apologize to Shawn saying that it was not my intent to intrude but only to pour the champagne and to be of service and he said that he understood. Other couples have been delighted and surprise with a champagne toast that I am offering. But everyone is not the same and in hindsight I should have asked you if you wanted my gift.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Beach Hideaway, in the Eagle Suite. The suite was very clean (cleaner than most hotels we have been to) and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. We had more than enough towels to last us the entire stay. The highlight would have to be the view and the private hot-tub! Honestly, Marsha has gone out of her way to go above and beyond to create a luxurious, memorable experience. From the outdoor firepits to the delicious breakfasts, this was definitely the romantic getaway we were looking for. Well done! We will definitely be back, it was one of the best experiences we have ever had!

This was our first time visiting Sechelt and the most spectacular beach hideaway. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The owners, John and Karell went over the top to make our weekend visit memorable. We stayed in the sea to sky suite and OMG the view!! This place is a little place of heaven and sunshine. We are already planning our next trip back. If you are looking for a romantic holiday, family holiday or just some relaxation this is the spot to be!! 5 stars all the way around.
