Truly a magical place!! It is such a unique spot and an incredible experience rain or shine (though it's usually beautiful seeing as it's in the Sunshine Coast). It definitely was rustic luxury! Greeted with a Mimosa, you didn't need to carry your bags and cozy robes and towels were waiting for you in the "room". The accomodations are all fantastic- I took a sneak peek at them all. We stayed in one of the Yurts and the bed was incredibly comfy! The food was amazing - definitely exceeded my expectations! So accomodating to food sensitivities as well! Sam, Dave and the whole team truly went out of their way to offer personalized, genuinely caring service! We kayaked round the stunning bay and saw seals, starfish and crabs! I had a sailing lesson! We relaxed, we stargazed, we hung out on the water raft and even did a yoga class from the panoramic deck! There are so many spaces to relax that you can feel totally alone in the wilderness or find a common area to be more social. The boat ride into the resort was breathtaking and then we ended the trip with an incredible seaplane journey back to the heart of Vancouver's Harbour in around 20 mins! I cannot wait to go back!

Spent the weekend at this beautiful resort with a group of 35. Flew in directly from Vancouver Harbour in just over 30 minutes with beautiful scenery the entire way.

Staff was attentive/amazing/welcoming/extremely accommodating. The venue is overlooking the ocean on a small bay that's great for paddle boarding, swimming, etc.

Went out on a sailboat one day and a fishing trip on another boat the next.

Overall a great weekend getaway and highly recommended.

Went with a group of friends and had an incredible time. Beautiful setting, amazing food and wonderful attentive hosts. Its a great relaxing get away, very much off the grid but in the best way possible. Lovely swimming, hot tub, kayaking and a great fire pit to enjoy in the evening

Perfect if you just want to get away from it all. We stayed in the honey moon tent and we could have been the only people for miles, lovely to look out on the sea. You need to be self motivated but we loved kayaking and the short hike to the top of the hill.

Food was great and they were always willing to accommodate our dietary restrictions.

We came away relaxed and ready to return to the rat race.

Spent 2 nights and 3 days in this BC coast oasis. From the moment we boarded the boat for transport to the lodge, the service was top notch. Very friendly outgoing staff. I was escaping for a writers retreat with 4 others whom I did not know. Additionally I was escaping life to heal a fractured shoulder. The staff were very helpful, carried everything for me. We stayed in a main cabin, everything you could ask for was found. Very clean and comfortable. The tents on the property are beautiful as well. Located throughout the property on beautiful lush forest paths that peak out to the ocean. They are all furnished with cedar beds and tables with little porches to enjoy your morning coffee or catch the evening sunset. The food was magnificent for camping! Many activities SUP, sailing, kayaking, fishing, fires, salt hot tubs, hiking and relaxing. In the end, I also made 4 new friends for life. Highly recommend this experience.

We felt so sorry to see you arrive for your retreat in pain but so glad that you managed to have a great time, make great friends and appreciate everything we have here in our wilderness paradise - we do hope your sailing trip made up for being unable to paddle! We know you will be back and will make an extra-special effort to ensure you enjoy all the activities you could not on this trip. Thanks for an awesome review - it means so much to our whole team to read this.

My partner and I were looking to get away from it all - unplug, relax and re-connect with nature. Wilderness Resort was exactly what we needed. Our glamping tent was very comfortable and the food was fantastic. The staff were very attentive to our needs and ensured we had a wonderful vacation with many great memories. We met some wonderful people during our time at the resort and all agreed - Matt Damon would love it here :oD

Our family enjoyed the long weekend of August to celebrate our daughters and son in laws birthday.
We stayed on our boat and our kids stayed in one of the tents. They loved it and had an exceptional time.
The dinners we joined them with were excellent, organic and tasted fabulous. The appetizers that were cooked on the fire were also amazing. We enjoyed the 8 man paddle board and the salt water hot tub.
An overall wonderful weekend.

Sam, Dave and his Wilderness team were eclipsed only by the stunning setting of this tranquil retreat space. They provided wonderful opportunities to explore and enjoy this nature lover's paradise.
Sam turned us into sailors...Dave was everywhere at all times...Phill had us walking goats...Isaac lured us onto the water and Mark was a quiet presence looking to fulfill every guests needs!! A beautiful balance between a craving for quiet and a desire for outdoor exploration!!

Beautiful ocean view (tent #2) close to hot tub, beach and morning coffee. The bed was very firm for our liking. Definitely missed our pillow top from home! Food was a let down for us. On the first night our meal was very light and bland(4 shrimp, salad and dry noodles). We were left hungry and unsatisfied. However, they picked it up from there on out. The rest of the meals were filling and much more flavourful. It would be nice to be able to grab a bite I between meals. Especially with so many outdoor activities building up the appetite. Even to have your own bear cashe for treats (like chocolate;) would be lovely.
We Enjoyed all the complimentary activities! Paddle boarding, hiking, knayaking and fishing. Sailing would have been awesome but we missed the wind!
The resort was a quiet peaceful oasis away from it all! Staff was very motivated, attentive and helpful. They worked hard to try and make everyone's stay special. All in all it was a relaxing get away and a Gorgeous spot! Thanks Dave, Isaac, Mark and all the kitchen staff!

thank you for your review and ee are delighted things improved after your initial disappointment and that you had a great overall experience. We are extremely disappointed you were not entirely satisfied with your first meal - had our chef known at the time he would have addressed this immediately. We do have fruit and healthy snacks available for guests and encourage guests to bring in a cooler their own chocolate, candy etc along with pop, juices and any alcohol that they may want during their stay- we can also purchase top ups for guests from the mainland. Our team has discussed your comments and we will be offering a selection of candy/chocolate/chips , etc for purchase at our panoramic restaurant for any guests not bringing their own.
