We've stayed here a lot in the past and the managers(Danny and Tracy) and cleaning staff are amazing, warm and welcoming. It did get a little run down when the other managers were running it as I don't think their heart was into it but Danny and Tracy are back and the place is already starting to look amazing again. Looking forward to our routine stays here again!!

stayed here many times over the years and 2 years ago danny and tracy moved and new managers took over the new manager's were freindly but not as committed to maintenance and costumer service as the old manager's were so I was pleasantly surprised and so happy to see tracy and danny have come back things are already getting back to the beautiful well kept grounds and rooms they used to be so if in the last 2 years your stay wasn't up to standards rest assured it is now and getting better each day so glad to have tracy and danny back we are looking forward to staying there regularly again

We booked four of our staff into this hotel for a ten day stretch for work. The hotel itself is a bit run down, pretty average for a lower end hotel in the area. Our staff reported that the wifi didn't work and that the ice machine was broken for the duration of their stay. They needed wifi to do daily reporting in the evenings and were working outdoors in the heat all day, so an ice machine would have been nice. We had a couple staff rotate out for the weekend, and provided a clear explanation of which staff in which rooms would be rotating in and out at least a week in advance of this occuring. Rooms were not cleaned of linens changed when rooms had different staff coming in to them. Our staff were understandably upset and let the hotel front desk know. Instead of taking our staff at their word the front desk person chose to argue with them and tell them it wasn't their problem. When I called the hotel the next day to ask about what had happened and why there was some confusion regarding our staff rotating out, the hotel front desk person immediately started to get argumentative with me, told me that we provided no details, blame me and our staff for the whole situation, and more than once threatened to kick all our staff out of the hotel because "I don't want to deal with the hassle of you guys". They clearly had not taken any notes about who was coming and going, and when, and proceeded to tell me that we hadn't provided any details. Extremely poor hospitality and rude owners / managers who clearly didn't seem to care about the comfort and the functionality of the amenities offered. We experienced extremely poor hospitality, I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel if you have other options.

On July 14 my adult daughter and I booked a room at this motel for one night asking for two beds. We were charged $146.90 which was apparently the senior rate. The room was shabby to say the least. The ceiling mounted fluorescent lights had no covers and one unit didn't even light up. The wall mounted light behind the bed didn't have a bulb in it and one of the lamps on a bedside table was so dim it was impossible to read. The upholstered chairs in the rooms were all stained and looked disgusting. The room is priced far too high considering the poor condition and lack of maintenance. If one considers staying at this location, beware.

This is a very very old motel. I think it should be torn down and rebuilt. The location was definitely great but old building. Never did find the icemaker. Stayed here because there wasn't occupancy anywhere else.

I was looking for a midway point between Saskatoon, Sk. and Burnaby, BC. as we were headed out for a week of family fun. So Sicamous was the best choice this year. I checked out the listings on a variety of sites and found this little gem. I checked the reviews and the photos and the price. We were a party of 5 and this establishment offered a family suite at a great price. As I often do, I phoned the hotel directly for the best price and to get a feel for the layout of the room, as there were few pictures. Turned out to be a good idea, as my vision was not exactly correct. In talking to Tracy at the front desk, I got the feeling that this was a good place and these were good people running the motel. I booked two nights. Our first night was a late drive in, but we made the best of what was available. The Joe Schmuck's restaurant and bar was very accommodating as far as food was concerned on a Saturday night. The motel suite was very clean and we liked what we saw. The downside was that the air conditioning was in the back bedroom and there was very little chance that the window A/C would cool down the entire suite. As a result, those who slept closest to the door were hot. With the window open, there was a lot of highway noise, plus the person below us either had a party or a very loud TV. And the A/C was very noisy. Sleep was not restful. We had breakfast at Joe Schmucks and it made up for the lack of sleep with a fabulous breakfast. We informed the front desk and again, Tracy, was very helpful and split up our party for the return stay so we had two rooms for a more than reasonable price. We also learned that there had been a party behind the hotel and across the river, which the management could not have foreseen or taken care of that added to the noise and the person below us had been a deaf customer who had the TV near max volume. Again, not something that they could have foreseen. Our second stay, again we drove in late due to horrible traffic getting out of Vancouver (June 29), was very good. We were late enought, that Tracy called to see if we were still coming. Again the rooms were very clean, the staff were great and as it turned out, our daughter had left a few items the first time and we got them back. So honest! The front desk area offered cookies, some fruit and coffee that we could access anytime. The suite layout was a back room with a two queen beds, a TV and a counter and a table and chair with the A/C unit. A lot of the things were not plugged in and the room did not offer a hair dryer. So the fridge had to be plugged in right away. There was a third bed in the front of the suite with a table and chairs, a counter, a microwave and another TV. Our second night stay in the two other rooms had the same layout. So they post on their sign that they offer famly suites or two bedroom suites. Can't quite remember at this point. But we highly recommend anyone stay there. Sicamous is a great little town. We also had breakfast at Grandma and Grandpas, fabulous! We were also told about another breakfast place called Lemon Tree in a little strip mall. Just keep in mind that the streets are rolled up soon after 10 in this community.
