Very clean, well priced, great location, quiet and orderly, friendly owner and staff. Along the banks of the Eagle River, camping out back, barbecue area for guests. Will stay here in future when travelling.

This modest motel provided us with a perfect, inexpensive rest on our trip west. Carpet was a bit grubby, but the room was very clean otherwise and bed and pillows were super comfortable .. and the simple, healthy and plentiful breakfast set us on our way well-refreshed. Will hope to use this again next time we cross BC; it's half way between Calgary and Vancouver. Great Value! (It's dog friendly too.)

I stayed here on a motorcycle trip from Calgary home to Vancouver last weekend [July 5, 2014] Sicamous is almost exactly half way on this ride. The motel is super clean and very well maintained. It is right on Highway 1 so very easy to find but not at all noisy at night. Standard room had a sitting room in front with fridge and microwave and coffee maker; full bath in the middle and big bedroom in back on the river side. Continental breakfast included fresh baked muffins!! The manager Danny recommended the restaurant right next door where I had great blue cheese bacon burger which came with some of the best fries. This is now my first choice for half-way to Calgary.

On July 14 my adult daughter and I booked a room at this motel for one night asking for two beds. We were charged $146.90 which was apparently the senior rate. The room was shabby to say the least. The ceiling mounted fluorescent lights had no covers and one unit didn't even light up. The wall mounted light behind the bed didn't have a bulb in it and one of the lamps on a bedside table was so dim it was impossible to read. The upholstered chairs in the rooms were all stained and looked disgusting. The room is priced far too high considering the poor condition and lack of maintenance. If one considers staying at this location, beware.

Hi there I am so sorry your experience was awful. We are the new managers here Danny and Tracy we just took over in September. I want to assure you that we have been working very hard to get motel up to standards. Cleaning and shampooing carpets and maintenance. I would like to rectify so if you could call directly to motel we would love a chance to have you stay again.. Again i.m so sorry

Stayed one night en route to another destination.
Pros:
Clean!
Pet friendly. Off-leash area reasonably close by (but not fully fenced). Area to walk dogs around hotel.
Cons:
Trouble connecting to Wi-fi. (Could connect in morning but not in the evening.)
Air conditioner is loud (but worked well and helped to block highway noise).
Other:
A little run-down (towel racks loose, etc.).
Although property is on the river, you really do not see the river.

Needed a a half way stop over from Calgary to Victoria. First place I tried and glad I did. More space than I needed and surprisingly quiet beside major highway. Quick and friendly check-in with acceptable pricing. Continental breakfast. Will be on my list when next travelling that way. This is a very scenic area.

Great, clean and well maintained motel. During a long winter road closure they were so very accommodating to overdue guests. We have stayed before and will any time we are stopping in the area. Highly recommend.

We found this motel to be clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The separate bedrooms would make this a great place for a family vacation, or for an overnight stop on a road trip. Home-made breakfast, all for a low price
