RV reservations for longer-term stays only. The RV Park campground, washrooms, and showers are closed for the 2022-23 season. Contact us for further details. My husband and I stayed at the Glacier View RV and Campgrounds 5 nights. We really enjoyed the cabin. It had an unparalleled view of Hudson Bay Mountain and Glacier (cabin 7). The cabin itself was the perfect combination of rustic and modern. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The campground is located about 5 minutes from Smithers, BC which is where we were visiting so it was very easy access. Kent and Rose are being diligent about the pandemic situation we’re in. Check in and out were contactless and they were easily contacted through text for any questions we had. Definitely recommend and we will be staying there on our next visit to the area as well.

Beautiful glacier views. Very cute and cozy cabins - nicely furnished with everything you need. Fire pit with picnic table. Hosts were extremely accommodating and quick to respond. LOVED staying and will be back!

Great cabins, clean, well stocked, comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything, even our dog! Nice view, close to local hikes and town. The cabins are themed and well decorated. Check in and out was contactless and the hosts kept in touch through text, couldn't have been easier. Will be back for sure.

Kent & Rose at Glacier View are the BEST hosts! I have been on work travel assignments for 10 months, mostly living out of hotels. I ended up staying in Smithers for nearly 2 of those months. I am SO glad I found Glacier View. The cabins are beautiful, clean, cozy, spacious & very comfortable. Kent & Rose do everything they can to welcome you & make you feel at home. The park is quiet, has a beautiful view of the Glacier, is very close to the airport (5mins), and not far from town (10-15mins). It was 1000x's better having a cozy cabin with a full kitchen and a nice porch all to myself, rather than staying in a crummy, overpriced hotel in town. If I'm ever back in the area, for work or for leisure, I will definitely stay here again.

This property is very well kept and maintained. Rose and her husband are great people and very communicative.
Great views of the glacier and a nice quiet cozy place.
Weve stayed in the cabins (fully stocked) 2 x and recently camped with our travel trailer (full hook ups - electricity/sewer/fresh water) right at your site.
All in all 5/5 👍

Great place to stay. We stayed in the RV section. Never seen such clean washrooms and laundry, what a treat! Rose was very accommodating, we needed another night and she was able to accommodate us. The site is beautiful and quite quiet in spite of being close to the highway. We will definitely come back.

We stayed in our 5th wheel,although you can book one of their cabins. Never a disappointment, albeit the covid changed some of the protocals at the park as it has elsewhere. Close to town and lots to do in the area.(hiking, biking, golf, fishing and skiing in the winter) Or just chillax and enjoy the view of the glacier across the way. Great hospitality. I was looking so forward to our stay here. Paid alot of money and was not satisfied. There was no AC available and was not informed. The fridge worked poorly could not keep our food it in, because it was so hot in there. Could not sleep or be comfortable. Did reach out to onwer's they did offer ice which melted in about a hour cause it was so hot and no AC. Offered to switch fridge but wouldn't make a difference due to the heat. Was offered to little fans that made no difference in there. Was not offered any money back our to leave sooner. Will not go back or recommend to other people. Too bad was excited and was a disappointed and so were the kids and my senior mom.

Hello We would have been very willing to refund your 2nd-night stay if you had decided to leave a day early. You said you were going to stay anyways, as you were very excited about staying and loved the cabin. We tried to accommodate your stay by offering ice, a new fridge, and fans. The first day of actual nice weather with the temp of 22C that was actually sunny instead of raining as it has been most of the summer. I had mentioned opening the windows at night to get cool air inside but never saw it done. We did offer to replace the fridge and you said not to because it started cooling down. It must have been going through a defrost cycle as indicated in the manual. It has and is still operating with no complaints. With the COVID-19 virus, we were not willing to jeopardize the safety of all occupants for the sake of installing the air conditioning unit. When you had mentioned that 2 of your group were immune-compromised, we didn’t want to further complicate things. We have given fans to help with the weather. What a terrible situation everyone is having to deal with complications from COVID-19 such as closed stores, services reduced, air conditioners removed to name a few. We enjoyed our overnight stay at Glacier Bay Cabins. We wished we had time to stay longer. The cabins are clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Fridge, Coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, 2 burner hot plate, pots and pans etc. There were plenty of towels for 5 adults, not something you always have at a hotel. Even with 5 of us, it still felt roomy in the cabin. The beds were comfortable and we had a choice of harder or softer pillows. The view of the glacier off the front deck was beautiful!

I stayed for five nights in one of the cabins in the park - Number 9! It was perfect...a great size, super-clean, with everything you'd need and a lovely decor, reminding you that you were just steps from the Canadian wilderness. I had a chance to spend some time with owner Kent, who was friendly and welcoming and very personable. Located just a few minutes from Smithers, the park faces Hudson Bay Mountain and the glacier, so you actually never have to leave the park to get a real sense and feel for the wilds of Northern BC. What a view! I will stay here again and bring my family next time.
