Stopped by chance while travelling to Prince Rupert and so happy to have found this place. It's nicely updated, very clean and quiet so really checks the major boxes for us. Seems like a popular place to stay so probably best to reserve in the summer. We will be back.

I booked this hotel as a shot in the dark as I needed a pet friendly hotel on very short notice. To be honest I am the kind of person that has spent many nights in hotels, from vacations to long work stays so I have seen it all. I found the Fireweed online and people seemed happy. It is...

We have stayed at the Fireweed several times, as we make our every-two-year trip up to Alaska, catching the ferry in Prince Rupert. This is a great place to stay - not fancy, but very clean, the folks who run it are as nice as can be, and it is very reasonable. We love that they let us have our...

Easy location with McDonald's across the street. Had a ground floor room so it was convenient for me to park and go to my room. Laundry room was clean with good machines. Had all the equipment available to keep and fix food. There were some electrical issues and a lock problem which were addressed quickly by staff.

Large room, nice wifi, fridge, micro, tub, 2 beds, separate table and 2 chairs (handy for downloading photos to the computers!). And...laundry! Very nice to have mid-way through a road trip featuring a lot of hiking and camping. Walk to dinner and groceries also a big plus!

Wow, what a find. Great service at check-in. When I opened the door I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell this place is very well cared for. It seems like a new hotel. The rate was great and the reviews were good so I picked it. Heartily recommend.

Clean, roomy, new style linens...it seemed too good to be true until late at night when a large family with a dog moved in above us. Why, oh why, when the place is half-empty, would you put a noisy leaping family of teenagers directly above an old retired couple? We may stay again, but next time WE will be on...

I have stayed at the "Weed" many times over the years. I just finished up a long visit in the north fishing and visiting friends. Part of the stay included 7 nights at the Fire Weed. The 7th night was free FYI. My rate was $75 and that was for me and my black lab. With taxes it was a...

We stayed two nights at the end of August. The room was large enough for all our luggage and had the 'necessary' amenities - tv, coffee maker, microwave and fridge! We were on the ground floor and there was really no traffic noise - the building is just a half-block or so off the highway but across the street from...
