The room was big, but didnt smell very good. Our first room had mold on the fridge so we complained and they changed our room. The room had no mold but did not smell very good. We were there for two night and had no housekeeping service. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom pretty good. The hotel is very well located, has a nice spa area with hot tub, sauna and steam room. The free parking lot is very far so we decided to pay the $15 a night and park underground.

The small lobby is warm and welcoming and the staff is top notch. My room had two queen beds, a small refrigerator and overlooked the ski run that comes right through the middle of the village. Bedding was very comfortable. The property has an indoor hot tub, secure ski storage with a boot drying rack & shelves for your shoes while you are out in the mountain. When you are ready to ski, just step out the lobby door, into your skis and ski through the village to the lift!

The hotel has a two restaurants - a steakhouse with an amazing Brie and a fondue stube perfect for dining with friends or a romantic evening.

I will definitely stay here again!

This is a very good hotel with a recently remodeled spa area. Rooms were large and well appointed. The only negative was unloading your vehicle if you chose not to pay for or could not get underground parking, space for which is limited. The main entrance from the road was up a series of steep somewhat icy steps so you had to unload your luggage including your skis carry them up these steps and then place the luggage on a luggage cart. I found a better way to depart by using the elevator to the underground garage with the luggage cart and then loading the car just outside the entrance to the garage thus avoiding the icy steps altogether. Unfortunately I had to find this out by myself, I received no help from the front desk. This would also be a good way of unloading the car when you arrive

Excellent location - ski in ski out with a ski locker downstairs. Great steam room, hot tub, and sauna. Good sized room. Problem was very poor housekeeping - we were there a week and nearly every day I had to call the front desk as the cleaners had missed something in their cleaning, had not replenished supplies etc.

COVID has made all aspects of travel difficult but the one I didn't expect was the difficulty all the businesses were having in recruiting staff.
Yes, we had to make a few compromises (reduced housekeeping etc.) but that's a small price to pay, given that we couldn't travel at all last winter.
The Sun Peaks Lodge is highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again.
The room was great, the service from Mario, Sylvia & the staff was excellent (in very trying circumstances for them), the hotel has a hot tub, steam room & sauna & is totally ski in/out.
The pre-booked continental breakfast was more than adequate, & we had the option to upgrade to a hot breakfast when we chose to.
On top of all that we had arranged to get married at the Mid-mountain Chapel (owned by the hotel) & Sylvia was extremely generous with her help which was much appreciated given that we were arranging it from 5000 miles away!
We look forward to returning, hopefully next winter.

I stayed at the Sun Peaks Lodge from 29th January to 12th February 2020. This was my third stay at this hotel and it was just as pleasant. The location is excellent for the restaurants, what shops there are and the lifts. The room was clean, I did not require housekeeping every day, but let down by the heating being noisy. The fridge was also noisy, I solved this by unplugging it. My room, number 320, was at the end of the floor and suffered from noise from.the kitchen vents as well. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel is starting to show it's age as some of the fittings, such as the floor heaters looked a bit worn. Also, there were a couple of times when the lift didn't seem to respond to the controls. The only other minor issue was that I wasn't sure why cold meats and cheeses were not included in the continental breakfast.

I always try to find something good at every place I stay so for this place I’d say the lobby was nice and warm. Other than that our room was very cold. The heat was up as high as it could go. Thank goodness we had just bought a heater for home so we had that. The room smelt musty. We stayed 2 nights and when had the room cleaned they just took the towels out and put 2 in. No face clothes, no bath mat, no tea or coffee and my glass still had lipstick on it and I don’t even wear any. The ice machine is in the basement and that’s even colder. You had to put your coat on to get it. The worst part was the parking. We had to put our car over in the public parking lot and they don’t have any sort of shuttle. If the hotel was only a $79 special then it would have been fine but I really don’t think it was worth anywhere near what we paid. Sun peaks itself it a great little get away though. Just stay in a different hotel.

Sun Peaks Lodge and the adjoining Sun Peaks Studios offer quaint studio rooms with a small kitchen equipped with stovetop, microwave, mini fridge, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, toaster, kettle, etc.,all the necessities to cook a meal. Rooms are clean, and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is wicked good with lots of fresh variety to choose from. The food at the Steakhouse is always above par. The lodge is located smack dab in the centre of the Village Way which makes it an excellent choice to stay. There’s underground parking, storage room for ski gear and bikes and underground parking. The Stube Fondue restaurant is a must!!

This place is awful. They advertise as having parking, but instead tell you to park in a public lot a 10 minute walk away. They advertise as having a sauna and hot tub. What they fail to tell you is that they are only open a few hours a day, starting at 2pm. This is a ski hotel. Hit therapy is a part of skiing. What a joke. The staff is also very rude. The manager is a typical Karen. The rooms are basic and small. This hotel is over priced by 50%. Stay anywhere but here.

We stayed here one night. Hotel in ski resort with not much else around.
We had a twin bedded room with the best shower in the bathroom
Tea and coffee facilities in room with fridge
Wi-Fi in room
Room was comfortable but in the morning we was woken at 6.15 by a coach starting up out side the room
